The hotel was lovely and quaint. The room was large and well equipped. The views from the room and the rest of the hotel were amazing!

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Great food in the restaurant and an excellent breakfast. Our room was spotlessly clean on arrival and kept so by the very efficient cleaners. Location was perfect. Views over the valley, great sunsets and only 10 minutes walk into the centre of town.

The outside spaces need a little bit of a tidy up (this may well be due to it being near the end of the summer season).

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious with flagstone floors in both. The first time we stayed in a dual aspect room, and the second time we were given a triple aspect room. Views are over the countryside. Plenty of parking. The restaurant in the conservatory was very good. Staff were helpful and accommodating. A simple countryside hotel.

The outside needs attention. It appears neglected. Chairs are all over the place. Umbrellas left lying on the ground. Grubby tables with over flowing ashtrays. It was not possible for us to sit outside with a drink. It needs the furniture cleaning up and chairs set round the tables in order to give some outside appeal.

Fantastic place in an excellent location. The restaurant was absolutely outstanding. Great place for traditional Italian steak. The pastas were excellent also. The owner, Orlando, was a gracious host. Although it is only a 700 meter walk, he even took time out his busy day to give us a ride to town so I wouldn’t have to search for a property I was interested in. They are in the process of building what looks to be an amazing pool. Once that is complete the place will be perfect. Hands down, best place we stayed in Italy.

Our fantastic stay at Loncanda Della Picca

The location is fantastic as the views are stunning so give yourself time to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Our room was tastefully decorated with the bathroom having everything you need. The proprietor was very friendly and outgoing, answering all of our questions and giving us a short and very interesting history of the property. I highly recommend having dinner in the property's restaurant.

Great location overlooking the countryside and within walking distance from Città della Pieve. Recently and elegantly refurbished boutique guest-house with an excellent restaurant where to relax and enjoy local food and wine in a charming atmosphere… I will definitely consider staying at this property again!

A real Inn indeed: comfortable and large room (with excellent bed), fantastic location with view, very nice restaurant that's worth visiting by itself, also available as wine bar and breakfast place. Citta' della Pieve is a great small medieval town to visit.

The epitome of Italian hospitality and grace

The owner, Orlando, was the epitome of Italian hospitality and grace. His restaurant has the atmosphere & elegance of a fine dining establishment. The dishes are delicious, the service impeccable. Breakfast was a generous and homely affair. The rooms are spacious, incorporating typical Umbrian charm with modern day decor. We especially appreciated the bathrooms with their large showers and many accessories. Everything exuded taste and comfort. It's a place you want to return to over and over again.

Wat een heerlijk verblijf ! Perfect gelegen om de stad te voet te bezoeken via een wandelpad . Gratis parking , mooie kamer met koffie faciliteiten , groot en confortabel bed. Fantastisch restaurant met heerlijke gerechten en lekkere wijnen . Uitstekend ontbijt à la carte , zeer vriendelijke bediening . Wij hebben genoten .

Het was jammer genoeg te koud om van het zwembad te kunnen genieten . Maar daar kan niemand iets aan veranderen natuurlijk. Frigo op de kamer een beetje gehorig .

Unser Zimmer und Bad waren sehr geräumig und sehr geschmackvoll und mit Stil gebaut und eingerichtet. Das Frühstück hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, sehr reichhaltig und mit selbstgemachten Croissants. Das Restaurant hat ein wahnsinnig tolles Panorama (als Terrasse oder mit Glasfronten gegen kühle Witterung geschützt. Es sind auch viele ortsansässige Gäste im Restaurant, offenbar überzeugt die Qualität. Fußläufig ist das attraktive Städtchen Citta della Pieve zu erreichen.

Lekker vakantieadres kort bij een gezellig stadje

Mooi vakantieadres op een fijne locatie, op wandelafstand van het stadje Citta Della Pieve. De eigenaren hebben een verlicht wandelpad langs een drukke weg aangelegd, waardoor je op een goede, veilige manier naar de stad kunt. Er zijn overigens ook voldoende parkeerplekken rondom de stad. Het is een grote locatie met zeer ruime kamers, een restaurant, terras en zwembad. Met een ruime parkeergelegenheid voor de auto. De kamers hebben een prima bed, zijn schoon en goed verzorgd.

Het ontbijt wordt aan tafel geserveerd en is prima verzorgd. Jammer is dat het ontbijt in een van de binnenruimtes wordt geserveerd, niet de mooiste plek van het hotel. Terwijl het hotel over een ruim restaurant en een terras beschikt, beide met een ruim uitzicht over de vallei. Ook ontbreekt het aan een beetje gezelligheid, zoals een muziekje op de achtergrond. Met een simpele aanpassing zou het een stuk beter zijn.

Wir waren viel zu früh dort und durften schon den Pool nutzen. Das Restaurant ist durchgehend bedient. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und hatte eine Kaffeemaschine sowie Mineralwasser. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Wir haben am Abend im Hotel-Restaurant gegessen. Es war sehr gut und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Increíble todo: precioso lugar, respira paz. Es un hotel en el que te quieres quedar una semana. Habitación para 4 estupenda, baño amplio con vistas, con ducha y bañera. Con cafetera y nevera en la habitación; dejaron agua fresca y el aire acondicionado puesto al entrar. Desayuno completo muy bueno. Servicio excelente en general. Y qué decir de su restaurante, de primera, estupendo chef, con variedad de platos exquisitos y una carta de vinos muy amplia. Terraza con vistas para una cena inolvidable. Opción relación calidad/precio inmejorable.
