Hotel Mosaic Apartments

Location is excellent. Walking distance to major museums and attractions. 24 hour reception is a big plus. All staff is very friendly. It is comfortable one bedroom apartment fully equipped. The bed was big and comfortable. You can open the window at night, to have fresh air.

It could have been a bit cleaner. Frying pan was old and better be replaced. it was a bit noisy at night, but we didn't mind.

We were upgraded in a bigger flat. It was spacious and quiet and comfortable. We stayed there 3 days. The staff was very nice. There are restaurants, bars and supermakets around. The tramway is nearby.

If the flat is nice, there are a lot of little things to fix and repair. Some stuff was missing in the kitchen for example. The cleaning could be improved but the previous guests were apparently very messy.

Parking Location

Very very small rooms, hardly to have enough hot water for the all family. The windows don’t correctly close, so it was more noisier and colder than expected. Despict the small extra heater, We have had to ask extra blanket (an the second night) and the house keeping take them back on the next day instead of letting us until the end. Its clean but you can see that the room are highly used.(broken sofa, tired carpet).

Prime location, accessible by foot and tram, with many stores, cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff was nice. I was greeted by somebody who escorted me to my floor and told me which door was mine. He also recommended dining places nearby. On another occasion, a different staff member took note of items that were missing in my kitchen and arranged for them to arrive in my room later that day. Room cleaning brought fresh towels and made the bed almost every day. They left me some fruit in the basket and a bottle of wine.

Small size: This is not apartment by any stretch. It is a non-claustrophobic hotel room (#2005). The room is small. Pictures are misleading, as they depict other larger rooms. It was single space of ~24 sqm which included the bed, the couch, the closet, the kitchen, and the table. Behind a door you find the bathroom and shower. Noise and lack of coziness: I paid extra to get an apartment, but the experience was that of a hotel room. Two of the walls are glass, facing the street and a porch where other guests smoke. Everything can be covered with curtains, but you still don't feel cozy. The main window-wall faces the street, which can get noisy. I had to sleep with earplugs. The other wall is shared with the corridor, so you hear people passing by, and every time somebody uses the corridor door, the room door shudders. Shower fixtures leak: Both the overhead and the handheld shower heads leak, spraying water. The shower doors have no rubber lining, so water escapes to the floor outside, which has no drain. To dry it, you just have to rely on towels and time. Cleanliness: There are smear marks on walls, frames and furniture. There were two wine glasses on the coffee table, both dirty with some wine leftovers in them. Lastly, there isn't single hook or rack in the whole room. Towels, coats, hats would all use something to be hung on. Not just the radiator and the chairs, but a hand towel hook, a coat rack, something near the door, over the bed, etc.
