Stylish flat with garden in Notting Hill

It was within walking distance to a tube station. Lots of restaurants close by in notting hill. Loved portobello market for ethnic food. Beds were very comfortable.

The entrance needed to be swept of garbage and the cobwebs in the backyard should have been cleared. The window shade in the small bedroom didn’t work.

It is in a great location in turn of good neighbourhood, clean; closed to many cafes, restaurants and shopping. The premise is very well set up where we truely feel like home; it has a great back courtyard but sadly we didn’t get to use it because of the bloody cold weather. It’s by far the best airBNB I’ve used so far ( just over 20 ! ) plus fact that we were allowed to check in 3 hours earlier, so thank you.

As I mentioned in my feedback earlier, could do with a small microwave, 1-2 hooks behind the bathroom door so we can hang clothe when we about to show and a small peeler. These are not major issues

We stayed for 3 nights and found the property to be spacious and well-suited to our needs during some downtime in London. It’s in a great location — within walking distance to Portobello Road and the train station, which was very convenient. Loved the books and decor making it feel very comfortable.

There were several practical issues that affected our overall comfort: • The mat/fake turf outside the back door was saturated, a mat on inside to take shoes off would help eliminate any dirt trap-sing inside; also, the back door can only be locked by lifting the handle — this took us a while to figure out and should be clearly noted. • The kitchen lacked some basic essentials: no plug for the sink (with only one dishwasher tablet available), no tongs, and no visible switch or signage for the exhaust fan. • The washer/dryer didn’t dry clothes properly, even after consulting hosts and instructions online. The laundry room also smelled of mould and was cluttered and untidy. • Floors felt gritty and could have been cleaner. Overall, a good location and plenty of space, but some maintenance and clearer instructions would improve the stay.
