A nice space that with a little money and lots of love could be amazing.
Beds were comfy. Good showers. Plenty of saucepans provided.
I had booked for 2 weeks, and supplied 3 dishwashing tablets, one of the hand soaps had about 1mm in the bottle and practically had to beg for clean towels (never received) and sheets for the second week. Most of the radiators upstairs were not working. Most of the push out windows (not slash) could not open (Is that even legal?) Grime and cobwebs scattered about the place, very uncomfortable lounge/ conservatory chairs (either totally bottomed out or hard like concrete) and the kitchen filled with all manner of the owners clearly unwanted crockery. Also way too much clutter in the house - the rocking horse may be cute, but is also in the way. One set of matching 6 knives, forks and spoons would have been nice, a kitchen knife that could actually cut something, instead of blunt or bent knives and hordes of plates filling the cupboards for a place that houses 6 - clearly the owner does not know what to do with the old stuff and this house seems like the dumping ground. The owners should stay a night in a like bnb and see what they should be like.
