Excellent choice of where to stay in Rijeka in December. Apartment was well equipped, warm and clean. And quiet. We were very surprised by the supplies she provided for the kitchen. Not only utensils, but also oil, salt, spices, tea, coffee, sugar and other items. Very helpful!! Shower is hot if you want it to be. Wifi works great. Close to the bus stop (20 min bus to the city center), about 5 min walk. Or 10 minute drive by a car. Very easy to park right in front of the house. Owner, Jadranka is very friendly and responsive. She speaks excellent English. She even provided 2 keys for the house. Right next to the apartment is a very tasty seafood restaurant.

Nothing. Advice: The center of Rijeka is small, but nice. I suggest that you also visit Opatija, 15 minutes drive or 30 minutes bus ride. What a lovely town with a very long lungomare.

Rijeka je bohužel dost špinavé město, ale za to majitelé nemohou.

Everything. Located close to the beach side, the downtown is 10 minutes car drive which can be reached with a reasonably priced Taxi ride. The apartment was big enough for two adults and a kid. It is very well equipped, I cooked a lot and found everything I needed there. All the rooms weee clean, the AC worked perfectly. However the terrace was quite hot due to the sun shining in all day but it was private and we could have dinner there every evening which was cozy. The fridge is big, we could fit our big grocery shopping into it. We had extra towels or bath rugs if needed. The host were super friendly and helpful. They even provided local spirit, munchies, bread, milk...etc. I cannot fault anything, all hosts should follow their lead.
