The owner, Scott, was very friendly, responsive and helpful. We found the Birdhouse cabin roomy and cozy. The kitchen was stocked, there was lots of firewood and the host even provided charcoal and supplies for the BBQ grill. The adults loved the hot tub and we all enjoyed the game room, and magic deer food and the outdoor fire pits. There were lots of deer families hanging out on the property along with an armadillo 😊
The host offered an early check in time, but unfortunately We arrived after dark so the narrow lanes, winding roads and darkness made the drive a bit scary. We were thankful that we were in a an SUV as The driveway is uphill but we arrived safely. The fireplace was out of order. ☹️Although, the weather was rainy but not very cold but a fire would have been nice during our stay.
