Isle of Venice Residence and Marina

Nicely decorated inside the room and within the building premises. The room is huge. Large living room, bedroom, and bathroom. Bed is comfortable with clean sheets. Lots of towels and toiletries provided. Kitchen is well stacked, coffee pods provided. View on the canal. Everything was sparkling clean. The instructions prior to check in were very detailed, which helped to check in smoothly. The water and wine was complimentary, which was very nice touch. Thank you!

This is more of a positive than negative. I had an issue with hot water in a shower, the maintenance person came literally within 5 minutes after I sent a text, and showed me how to correctly turn on the faucet. For some reason it was not intuitive for me.

Location is excellent, nice pool, apartment was perfect. Cool fun, decor everywhere Have stayed before and will stay again !

Plenty of options to do your own with all the facilities required in the apartment, or easy walk or drive to so many other places.

When booking the description said sea views, which is not the case .

The room was very large, a/c worked very well, beautiful view of the canal with boats docked right outside the window. Comfortable bed. Our room had a kitchen with some cooking supplies and a fridge. There was a free bottle of wine on the table. Free parking. About a 20 min walk to the beach.

Have to take out your own trash.

Right on the water and easy walking access to Las Olas restaurants and the beach. There was also a nice pool area to soak in some sun with a bit of privacy. The owner was very accommodating to our needs and allowed us a later checkout as we needed to change to a close by hotel for the working part of the trip.

- Room as advertised and like in photos, spacious living room/dinning room, emperor size double bed which meant that as a family of three we did not have to use sofa bed in the end - nice patio with marina view - modern decor throughout - kitchen fully equipped (dishwasher, large cooker) even with dishwasher tablets, coffee capsules etc provided for a short stay - nice swimming pool looking into marina - convenient free parking right outside the building - hotel provides free beach chairs and umbrella - access to a bbq area with seating onto marina - lovely marina location - funky courtyard decor offering good vibes

- kitchen itself was nice but on a small side with two people not able to cook well together - location worked well for us but it is 15-20 minutes walk to the beach and 10-15 minutes walk to Las Olas - owner did not provide any check-in instructions, we had to chase him on arrival via phone provided. There should be more clear instructions as to the check-in process

Great location. Big sized apartment, the bedrooms and living room were really nice size, walk-in closets, both bedrooms has access to the balcony. Kitchen was very well equipped. Staff were nice and polite. I loved the most the complimentary water was available outside.

There was a mold in the bathroom. The building is old.

We have been coming to Fort Lauderdale for many decades, but the condo we stayed at was owned by my parents was recently sold. We needed to find a new home away from home, Isle of Venice was our first attempt and thankfully a successful one. The Owner Ilan is an artist and has been busy updating the entire premises inside and out. Ilan stopped by a few times and chatted with us, which was nice. The grounds are well maintained and his art is apparent throughout the property. Quirky for sure with a tiki-island vibe; the neon lighting surrounding surfboards, palm trees and vehicles lends itself to a pretty unique relaxed environment. There is no office check-in; however, Margret was there to greet us and she was very nice and helpful in explaining how we enter our room and showing us around. She was attentive and checked on us each day to make sure any of our needs were met. There are several employees making sure things are kept in working order; pool and grounds workers are there often to keep everything tidy. The rooms are large; each different from the other, checking online photos will help you make a decision on which one suits your needs. Some rooms have balconies with a view of the waterway where yachts are docked and others have a view of the garden. The place is clean, with a comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower and they provide many things for your convenience, beach chairs, wheeling cooler and a community area where there is sunblock, moisturizer, bug spray, etc. The price is very fair for the area being about a mile from the beach and a couple of blocks away from the Las Olas restaurants and shops . The pool is heated, clean and has some interesting tiki stone statues and palm trees to add to the island atmosphere.

A cute and cozy place, quiet, but close to action. A short drive from the beach and a short walk to Las Olas boulevard. Well appointed with all necessities. Good communication with the hosts, convenient parking, very comfortable bed. Wish there was a way to get new beach towels without doing laundry, and we did once, then we did laundry.

The property location was perfect for our trip. It had everything we needed supplies for our stay and very clean!

Location was perfect, quiet yet not far from all the places I wanted to go. There was a list of places to go and restaurants to try in the hotels when you check in, small details were added to make my stay feels home. I would stay there again

Highly recommend. We loved the location. 25 min walk to beach. We would def return. Try not to book room 101 as it’s right when you get in.

the location is perfect you can walk to the beach but also to the restaurants down town. The outdoor area with the pool is really calm and beautiful, super nice to relax. Apartment is also really nice and has everything what is needed.
