The area is very peaceful, the house is very beautiful and the staff are very attentive. Everything you need is available and the house is immaculately clean with impressive attention to detail. The hosts are truly exceptional.

Very friendly and accomodating. Made a lovely packed breakfast for us, we were advised to leave early to our trailhead, which was good advice.

It’s all fine, just felt it was overpriced, not far from the property, in Oviedo we had a 5 star hotel for less money.

Such a peaceful place, we didn’t want to leave. Dragos and his wife were most attentive hosts and we loved our deluxe room so much we stayed in it for much of one day, watching Netflix on the big TV! The breakfasts were fabulous and we highly recommend dining there in the evenings too. Five star meals and good wines.

There was absolutely nothing we disliked about this boutique hotel. However what we thought might give it 5 stars plus would be a bar so that we could have had a g&t before dinner. Perhaps an honesty bar on the first floor? Or more variety in the room’s minibar perhaps. Just a suggestion worth a try maybe.

Where to begin? We enjoyed a wonderful stay here during a heatwave in June 2026. Dragos and Iriai are wonderful, friendly, welcoming hosts. The terrace with its pool, loungers and parasols is the perfect place to enjoy the hot weather whilst enjoying the fabulous views and watching the swifts, swallows and martins zipping overhead. Our room was very comfortable and the food is great. We enjoyed the superb breakfast with a multitude of options and a hearty, tasty dinner menu with lots of vegetarian dishes. And I haven’t even mentioned the Picos del Europa. This national park, the first in Spain, is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Rugged, frost shattered peaks, deep river gorges and shady, wooded hillsides are just the beginning. It is a hikers and nature lovers paradise. In a nutshell I can't do better than my partner’s two word summary in the title.
