Acropol Studio Loft with amazing view & terrace

Super knus en schoon appartementje, alles aanwezig (keukentje, bed, ruime badkamer, koffie en keukenbenodigdheden). Geweldig groot 360 graden view dakterras met tafel en zonnebedjes. Uitzicht op Akropolis en vergezichten. De eigenaresse is zeer communicatief en stuurde ons vooraf alle info en tips via whatsapp. Vragen werden direct en flexibel beantwoord. Absoluut een aanrader voor een weekendje Athene.

De buurt waarin het appartement zich bevindt is niet de veiligste in Athene, dat kan in eerste instantie afschrikken. Maar al met al is alles goed gegaan en zijn de hotspots van Athene goed te bereiken op loopafstand. Het appartement zelf is wat aan de kleine kant, maar alles is aanwezig.

Location is excellent, walking distance to parliament & good eating areas. The owner's response is quite fast, missing coffee & shower gel when we checked in but Despina provided them to us later the same day.She is very helpful, giving us info for eating areas, site seeing or parking place for our rental car. View of the appartment to Acropolis is great.

Neighborhood is questionable, smelt terrible like urine smelt, lots of small groups hanging on the street seem like doing drugs which make us feel not safe walking back to the app after supper, they don't do anything to us, but we feel not safe, we decide to take uber to go back even though it's only a 15-min walk. The bathroom does not have place to put the toiletries, owner should have installed a shelf for guest to put the basic toiletries in the washroom, we end up putting our toiletries on the floor outside the washroom which is not practical, lots of goong out and in of the washroom & bending every morning & evening. I am not sure if i will go back to this appartment due to the neighborhood. All the uber drivers told us that the neighborhood we stay is not good!!

We stayed for 7 nights and the location is fantastic for getting around the city centre by foot. It's a 15-20 minute walk to Monastiraki and the area is rich with places to eat and drink. Yes, the outside is a bit run down but that is the whole area and most of Athens for you. The building has a lift and the communal areas aren't lovely if you're used to polished and modern, and the lift is very small and slow, but they are clean and quiet. No smells or graffiti, just dated. We didn't have any issues in the area walking home late at night or during the day and it was easy to get a taxi from right outside the front door to places further away. The roof terrace is large and there are solar panels, but the area immediately by the patio doors is tidy with a table and chairs and a lattice gazebo. It isn't entirely private but the only people we saw go out there were people servicing the panels or something. The apartment is clean, modern and well stocked with all the cutlery, crockery and appliances we needed. The water in the fridge on arrival was very appreciated. The apartment is a studio so it's important to understand that it's small but it was fine for just me and my husband.

I haven't rated as a 10 only because the lift broke down in our last couple of days and it's tough to walk up 6 flights of stairs in 35°C heat, and carry the suitcases down. Also the bed is a mattress on the floor so, although generally comfortable, after a couple of nights I found my hips feeling sore during the night. My only other criticism is that we were only provided with one set of towels and sheets, so for the length of our stay a refresh would have been nice. Also, the pillows weren't good and an additional couple of pillows would be good.

El apartamento está muy limpio y las vistas son hermosas.

La entrada al edificio está sucia. He podido ver cómo los usuarios de los burdeles adyacentes orinan recurrentemente en el acceso al edificio. Es un olor muy desagradable aunque no necesariamente inseguro.
