Róza Vendégház

This is a great original old house which was renovated inside. Loved the feeling of being in true village (it felt like visiting Grandma during school summer break!:)), but having all the modern comforts like good shower, etc.:) The yard is super nice (and you can park your car there safely too) and we enjoyed watching the birds. We loved the location - to our surprise Bujak actually is a large village, but this house is situated on a small dead end street, so you are staying in true countryside, but at the same time there is a small supermarket, cafe-bar with ice cream and a pub and we loved going for a beer to the pub on the warm, sunny evenings! (and not beer only, but "Palinka" too!:D). We arrived on Sunday and the shop was closed, but we found out that the pub serves some food (pizza, etc.) - we had gyros plate and it was really good for the modest price we paid! Plus the location is good, because there are many interesting places to visit in 20-40 min. drive. We would gladly stay in this house again!

The bed is a bit squeaky and you can feel when your partner moves in her/his sleep. But it's not so bad and we got used to it in a couple of night:) Another thing you might like to know is that you do hear the neighbours. Mentally Hungarians are close to Balkans:), so expect neighbours sitting in their yards, talking, having radio on, etc. - and you will hear all these quite well:) Please don't get me wrong, it's not very loud and there were no parties during our stay, but just don't expect complete silence and just birds signing around:) We took it as a part of experience staying in true Hungarian village and it was all ok! (but I have to mention, that during the night it all was VERY quiet!)
