Very responsive team online. Great location and lovely clean apartment.

Late check in at 4pm and no flexibility unless you want to pay 20 Pounds per hour for early check in or late check out. Seems stingy when every other place we stayed around the world (Sweden, Australia, Thailand, UK and Spain) allowed some flexibility if it was possible to do so and without a cost). So many emails yet didn't get the details on how to get in until the very last minute and that was after I had to request them despite having paid in full and confirmed we were coming and also paid a damage deposit. Would have much easier to have done all through Whatsapp on a consistent number. Curtains couldn't be closed as they weren't hung properly and the business opposite kept their lights on throughout the night, despite no staff. (No wonder were in a climate emergency) The heating was set way too high and the lack of a house manual meant we couldn't adjust easily to switch off under floor heating and the individual bedrooms.

The 3-bedroom apartment is split into three different floors, with the only shower on the third floor. The stairs are quite steep, and we had two grandparents traveling with us. This was not disclosed in the listing. The basics were not provided in the apartment: no paper towels, no tissues, no dish soap, very limited amount of toilet paper, only one kitchen towel, no salt or pepper in the kitchen. Each bedroom closet has three hangers. We had to buy our own salt to make breakfast, and buy additional toilet paper. The host provided two dishwasher pods for a stay of 4 days and when we contacted them, they said they only provide things for the first 24h of stay and that we were required to buy everything else ourselves. I have never stayed at a place where we had to buy toilet paper and kitchen towels ourselves. It’s ridiculous to pay $700 a night and not having access to the basics. Clearly the host doesn’t care about a good guest experience, because the apartment is in a good location and they can afford to not care. I do not recommend this place to families who want to have a convenient stay.
