Southwark Residences by Aeria Apartments

The location is absolutely the best. Diff translation options, just opposite M&D Food, plenty of restaurants and coffee shops as well as beautiful walks around to the bank of the river or via Millenium Bridge . The flat has amazing view to Shard (even if we were only on 3rd floor).

The beds in UK are usually narrow, so 160cm is quite small. The mattress was extremely soft, and i mean extremely. The water pressure is always expected to be low in London and it was. Can be problematic to flush the toilet or wash your hair .

It was all we wanted. Maybe small things can be improved: * dishwasher tablet could bu more (it was only 2) * toilet paper, soap, shampoo could be more * but all is enough for 2-3 days. We stayed 5 days.

Fantastic apartment in a brilliant location. Spacious, clean, 2 large bedrooms and balconies.

The location is great, close to Tate modern and Millennium bridge, and the Borough market

The 3-bedroom apartment is split into three different floors, with the only shower on the third floor. The stairs are quite steep, and we had two grandparents traveling with us. This was not disclosed in the listing. The basics were not provided in the apartment: no paper towels, no tissues, no dish soap, very limited amount of toilet paper, only one kitchen towel, no salt or pepper in the kitchen. Each bedroom closet has three hangers. We had to buy our own salt to make breakfast, and buy additional toilet paper. The host provided two dishwasher pods for a stay of 4 days and when we contacted them, they said they only provide things for the first 24h of stay and that we were required to buy everything else ourselves. I have never stayed at a place where we had to buy toilet paper and kitchen towels ourselves. It’s ridiculous to pay $700 a night and not having access to the basics. Clearly the host doesn’t care about a good guest experience, because the apartment is in a good location and they can afford to not care. I do not recommend this place to families who want to have a convenient stay.
