    I booked well in advance of the trip and assumed it worked like a normal hotel with a person on the desk for arrivals. Sadly when I arrived around 10pm no one was there and it was all locked up ! After knocking on the door multiple times I gave up to sleep in the car! Why wouldn’t they send instructions for a key box like other places ? The description reads Hotel so why are they only giving you a room with self service key box ? Not good enough ! This would be advertised as an upmarket hostel although to be fair the rooms were really really clean and the cleaning staff in the morning were nice . If you run a business like this communication is key ( literally) Maybe due to my experience it looks harsh , I hope they learn from this faux pas . Agoda try everything not to refund as well …. Even if you’re forced to sleep rough!
