Clean, comfortable, nice garden, kitchen and good laundry service.

None of the staff speak English.

The space is nice overall. Kitchen is great to have. Bed was comfortable. Room was fine. Location is a bit removed but not too bad for the Bazar and for Margilan. Really like the town. Books and blogs will say it's the friendliest region of Uzbekistan. They are spot on

I saw hostel staff once in three days - when we checked in. We got a private room but they didn't have a room key for us. Our stuff was unsecured the entire time (we could lock from the inside. I think they just lost the key). While the gate is locked that's still surprising and I don't consider this to be acceptable for a private room booking. To check out we had to toss the key over the fence cause no one was there. There was a night security guard who seemed to not always be around. Highlights included him drinking loudly with another guy into the night one evening. Shared bathrooms were mostly ok but only one per sex and if the place was busy it child quicky be an issue. It all just felt a bit sketchy and half done. I was traveling with a friend and am a pretty sizable guy and I didn't feel comfortable (someone tried to get in our room in the middle of our third night, probably a mistake but doesn't feel great in an unmanned "hostel"). Would strongly consider avoiding if you are a solo traveller.
