The ambience, very friendly hosts, Monsieur a beekeeper. Ducks, hens, a cat and a dog strolling around (sometimes into the apartment). Very quiet. Apartment constructed in an old outbuilding, very comfortable, varied mix of furniture and facilities, very nice wet room bathroom. Outdoor terrace at back looking into moat. 30 minutes walk into town (Malicorne).

The location was absolutly beautiful next to farmhouse with ponds and ducks etc and near some local riverside restaurants an interesting ceramics heritage museum in the local village. It was chosen also for its easy reach of Le Mans for the racing events. The hosts were very welcoming.
It was very hot at the time and the studio would have benifitted from Air Con.

Being met by a very nice lady (the owner) called Veronique. Offered to let me park my motorcycle in the barn. Studio is a converted barn in the grounds of a Chateau, complete with lounge deck next to moat. Very rural. Short but very pleasant stay. Self-catering so make sure to bring food - although restaurants short drive away.
