La Casa degli Aspri

Location was fantastic and what a great building. Totally quiet inside, lovely big spaces. Loved that there was a washing machine and dryer. Vasto was incredible, wished we had more time to explore. The views over the park were lovely and despite being on a busy road we didn’t have any issues with noise. The play park opposite was great for our 2.5yr old.

The decor needs updating in a few places, paint peeling in the bathroom for example. There were two fridges but not even a small freezer box which was frustrating. The outside patio was covered in bird poo, it would have been nice if it had been cleaned before we arrived. It was obvious the table, chair and umbrella hadn’t been used for a while as full of creatures and cobwebs. Again, it would have been nice if this had been made suitable to use as we wanted to eat dinner outside. We contacted the management team over a strong gas smell on the patio. They reassured us it was safe, but it meant we couldn’t have the doors open into the bedroom.

Everything about this place was perfect for us. It started even before the arrival, when we were contacted by the host to have as smooth as possible check-in (very professional) and all through the tips he provided us and of course Vasto itself which was a huge positive surprise for us. We had plenty to see and plenty of places to eat at, great experiences within a quick walking distance from our place. Parking for example was no-issue at all. The vibe of this city totally caught us. Unfortunately had to leave after just one night and move on with our journey - but I hope to return one day.
