Avoid!!

The positive is the location in terms of getting to a train station & places in Greenock. However, the flat is poorly insulated and noise will keep you up all night. Between neighbours, cars and dogs it is VERY loud.

The property is run down and dirty. There were damp patches on the ceiling, a cracked window pane, it was freezing cold and the sofa bed was filthy. The bedroom drawers were covered in hair, the main bed is uncomfortable, there were stains and dirts everywhere. When we first arrived it took ages to get access to the property as the key lock outside didn’t work too. There is also a broken gutter above the main door, so you get wet every time you go in or out the building. The property owners spent half the time ignoring us or telling us we were free to leave. They didn’t care about the state of the property. We couldn’t use the sofa bed and so had to pay for a hotel for one guest in the end.

Don’t advise weekend stays or for work trips

Inside is fairly modern and clean and bed was comfortable and is close to shopping centre and the exchange pub is great

The entrance to the block of flats stunk of urine, there was water pouring out from a pipe above the entrance for the last 4 days, and there’s a dog that barks a lot during the night and the same flat also plays really loud music Friday through to Sunday in the evenings up to midnight. This was a work trip where we were working 12hr days and really needed to sleep well which did not happen on those nights. There’s people outside shouting in the middle of the night, the whole area isn’t great for work stays. We also had no broadband for the first couple of days as the contract had run out but this was sorted quickly, however we were told we would receive a 15% refund which didn’t happen. We have also asked 3 times for a VAT invoice which is required by our employer and this has also not been sent over.

Superb

The location was brilliant, and keys were accessible, apartment was clean and well set out.

Probably my only thing was the price, but I would take that with a pinch of salt as I grew up in this area, so I'm possibly undervaluing what the space is worth. The only physical attribute we had any issues with was finding spare loo roll! (And given how small an issue that was, it says a lot for how happy we were with this space)

Not too happy with the inside, lack of towels and broken sofa bed

Location is fine, nearby a nice fish and chips shop and some shops like Iceland and B&M for shopping.

The two sofa beds, one double sofa bed, is broken. The other sofa bed not too comfortable to sleep in the living room. We have 5 adults to stay for 2 nights only provide us with 2 bath towels . All the bed quilts for the sofa beds not properly covered. Only the 1 bedroom looks better, so 3 of us finding it uncomfortable to sleep on those sofa beds.

Disgusting. Don’t stay here. Unless you want bed bugs, lying hosts and dirt.

My partner and I got bitten by bed bugs. We have photographs to prove it. We were assured we would be fully refunded but alas, the hosts ‘apparently’ invited a pest control company. They didn't need to do that - just wash the bed sheets & the house! The house was a disgrace, disgusting and particularly one corner in the living room was filled with dust, mould and dirt.

Accommodation did not meet our expectations

The central location

The entrance and hallways were disgusting. There was neighbours arguing at all hours and there was definitely antisocial behaviours. My two daughters were very nervous staying here.

Not suitable for any one with a disability !

Clean roomy apartment. Well worth the money. Host was available and helpful.

This was 3 floors up with no lift. This needs to made clear . Also no parking in front of building. We were given a ticket just while we brought the cases down 20 minutes at the most at 8 30 in the morning. Doors not shutting properly inside so lack of privacy.

An excellent place to stay for a visit to the Greenock area.

The host was very helpful and friendly and answered all our queries promptly. We couldn't have wished for more. The flat was in an excellent location for our purposes; was easy to heat; it had all the amenities we needed and was lovely and clean. Would definitely stay again.

It wasn't a problem for us, but there were a lot of stairs to the flat, and no lift which would not have suited everyone. The air vent in the bedroom kept everything well ventilated which was great - but was maybe a little too fresh, given it was the middle of winter!

Very close to local amenities, seaside at walking distance. The accommodation is clean, tidy and fully furnished with complete household appliances.

The shower and hot water were problematic. However the owner has been very responsive and arranged engineer to fix them. Afterwards, all were good.
