Exceptional

This is a beautiful house in a remote village a few km away from Bastogne. Cows in the fields below the garden. Good facilities for a family to use and plenty of walks around about. For us was handy as we were visiting sites around Bastogne (this house is in the middle of Battle of the Bulge country). Very peaceful place but has all modern conveniences - dishwasher / microwave / BBQ / WiFi / TV. Highly recommended.

Nice house in a quiet location

Very nice house in a calm location. The jacuzzi is a nice extra. The host is super friendly and accomodating.

Cosy and roomy house with a lot of facilities!

The house was very roomy and cosy and the host was very polite and enthusiastic to show us around the house. The garden was also very nice with a lovely view. Inside there were a lot of facilities and the jacuzzi and trampoline were a nice bonus! In short, a perfect place to spend the weekend with friends or family! The Christmas tree and Christmas decoration were also a nice surprise!

Perfecte familie locatie

De ruime woning was heel erg gezellig! Ideaal voor familie tripjes. Mooie tuin, rustige buurt. Jacuzzi was echt een pluspunt! Alsook de pooltafel en pingpongtafel

Netflix op de tv werkte niet. Waardoor we geen film konden kijken samen. Dit was geen probleem voor ons, want de eigenaars hadden een grote kast vol spelletjes.

Parfait!

La maison est très spacieuse, surtout les espaces communs, permettant ainsi de pouvoir profiter en groupe sans se marcher dessus. Entre le jacuzzi, la table de ping pong, le feu ouvert et le billard dans le salon, impossible de s’embêter un wk la bas même pas mauvais temps! Les hôtes sont très réactif et d’une grande gentillesse. Rapport qualité prix parfait. Validé à 100%.

Für uns das perfekte Haus für eine Auszeit vom stressigen Alltag

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe gestresster Väter nun schon zum zweiten Mal in dieser Unterkunft. Sollte das nicht schon genug aussagen, hier noch ein bisschen mehr: Das Haus liegt sehr ländlich in einem kleinen Ortsausläufer kurz hinter der Luxemburgischen Grenze und ca. 15 Autominuten von Bastogne entfernt, wo es auch Restaurants und Einkaufmöglichkeiten gibt. In der direkten Umgebung der Unterkunft gibt es nichts - und das ist für unsere Zwecke auch absolut perfekt. Das Haus selbst verbindet relativ traditionelle mit modernen Einflüssen - eine urige Küche, alte Fliesen, ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer und nebendran ein Whirlpool, ein großer TV und ein paar Technik-Spielereien in der Küche. Alle Schlafzimmer sind sehr ordentlich und einfach gehalten. Die Betten sind bequem und jedes Zimmer hat einen Ausblick auf die schöne Umgebung. Im Wohnzimmer steht ein Kamin, der bei unserer Reisezeit im Dezember großartig war, im Vergleich zu anderen Ferienhäusern, die wir in Belgien schon besucht haben, ist das Haus aber auch nicht so kalt, sondern recht gut isoliert. Super ist natürlich die ganze Ausstattung - von Billardtisch bis Tischtennisplatte, vom Toaster bis zur Eiswürfelmaschine. Die Gastgeber Veronique und Joel haben sich größte Mühe gegeben, das Haus gemütlich und funktional für alle Gäste zu gestalten - und aus unserer Sicht ist das auf ganzer Linie gelungen. Die Gastgeber sind auch sehr sehr nett, sowohl in der Kommunikation im Vorfeld, als auch bei der Schlüsselübergabe vor Ort. Wir kommen gern im nächsten Jahr wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon.

Tatsächliche Kritikpunkte haben wir tatsächlich keine. Andere Reisende könnten die Abgeschiedenheit nicht ganz so gut finden wie wir, zumal auch ohne Auto nicht viel geht. Uns ist nur noch aufgefallen, dass der Grill, den wir beim ersten Besuch noch gern genutzt haben, beim zweiten Besuch leider in keinem guten Zustand war. Wir haben ihn lieber nicht benutzt, was ein bisschen schade war. Allerdings grillen vermutlich auch nicht viele Menschen im Dezember und die Gastgeber können nichts dafür, was andere Besucher mit dem Grill anstellen.

Leuke huis met tuin en genoeg om te doen!

Mooi, groot huis met mooie tuin. Veel faciliteiten, ping pong tafel, biljart, jaccuzi, beetje speelgoed voor kinderen, tv en wifi, voor een (lang) weekend kan je u zeker bezighouden! Flexibele hosts, duidelijke en snelle communicatie. Zeer aangenaam en voor herhaling vatbaar!

Het was proper, maar als je in de details kijkt, kon het wel iets beter.

Pas Bonheur....

De ruimte en alle faciliteiten voor kinderen.

Pas op m.b.t. de borg. Wij hadden de fout gemaakt weg te gaan zonder dat de eigenaar kwam controleren. Hierna ontvingen we onduidelijke foto's van kleine vage mankementen. Eigenaar hierna opeens op vakantie en niet bereikbaar, borg niet terug ontvangen. Blijkbaar helaas noodzakelijk foto's vooraf te maken...

De locatie was echt geweldig! De jacuzzi, pingpong tafel en pooltafel waren echt een meerwaarde!

Super, een echte aanrader voor wie er eens even tussenuit wil.

Alles netjes en een leuke verrassing bij aankomst. We hebben met alle plezier het flesje gekraakt. Vriendelijke eigenaar die alles mooi is komen uitleggen.

Er was niet dadelijk een tegenvaller, enkel mochten de bedden net iets groter zijn.
