Cosy cabins in lovely lakeside location

Really nice location. I had read some not so positive reviews but we thought it was lovely. It’s a bit rustic everything is clean and quite charming. The cabins are really cute and cosy. There’s beach on site, and wharf you can walk along and a kids playground. It was a great stop for us on our way north. The staff were lovely too!

A descent campsite

The campsite is conveniently located along the highway and offers the basic amenities. The rooms are clean, and while the bathrooms are compact—with two toilets and a shower each for men and women—they are well-maintained. There’s also a shared kitchen where you can prepare basic meals and drinks. Overall, it’s a decent stopover for a night or two on your way to your destination.

I’m surprised by the negative comments and reviews on the booking site—they don’t seem justified. This campsite is simple, but it’s clean and well-maintained. You can’t expect a five-star hotel experience from a campsite, and honestly, the owner goes above and beyond to ensure the toilets are always clean and hygienic, which is more than expected. Don’t be misled by the negative reviews—it’s definitely a good option for a night or two while on your journey.

Just stayed there

Location was good. There is big play and small bathing area so kids can enjoy their time. The terrace was also open to sit outside. There was a beautiful view of lake from the place.

The cabin door was broken so it should not been allocated as mosquito were coming inside whole night. There was no water in cabin. Bunk bed are difficult to sleep but It was very cheap. There were only 2 toilet and one shower for all cabins in the shared area. Common kitchen area for dish washing. As we were quite late for the day,we just spent our night. It is okay if you have small cabin because the size was as per Norwegian cabins but broken door is bad thing.

Never again!

Linen and building was clean. Location was lovely by the lake.

Toilet facilities were extremely poor and smelt terrible. The kitchen area was very old and run down so we didn’t use it except to fill the kettle which we later discovered had a scum inside it that put us right off using it.

Good

Good place to stop for a good night sleep. Quiet spot and good view from the balconies. Staff was kind and polite. Pleasant to find extras such as washing machine and drier available for the customers (extra pay). Good showers and clean toilets (both in a separated building).

The cabins are very (very!) small. The balcony was almost as big as the rooms - comparison is good for the balcony but terrible for the rooms. Difficult to imagine four people fitting comfortably in the quadruple room, or three people being ok in the triple room. The bunk beds, consequently, were also small. The double bed is a wide single, and it has such a small space between the bottom and the top bed that we had to sleep on the floor. Mattresses were comfortable, though.

Good spot on the way to stay for a comfortable night

Very good camping close to main road. Great to stop for a night on the way. Cottages with comfortable beds and small tarace with nice vew on the lake. Facilities little old but everything was clean. Hot water with no extra fee is a plus. Only one shower is really not enough when you wave more guests. Hopefully camping was almost empty. Nice kitchen with everything you need. All in all for this price I am really satisfied - I got everything I needed.

Really nice view from the cabin! It heated up in there quite quickly which we appreciated during our rainy and windy stay. We had pretty much everything we needed to make a simple meal. No running water but we had the toilet/shower hut really close by so that wasn‘t a problem, you just have to bring bottles so you have some water in the cabin :) Restroom area was clean.

could probably be kinda crowded if four people stay there, especially when there‘s bad weather

Cabins were cozy and warm. Location was right off highway so a convenient place to sleep on your way North.

Good for the price

The host was kind, unfortunately it was raining and we didn't have time to enjoy the surroundings (one night stop). There was washing facility for our convenience. Good value for the prices usually very hight in Norway.

Why not put a mat on the floor in front of the entrance door at the entrance of the cabin?

Enkel tradisjonell og rimelig camping, med god pris for hva man får.

Prisen og beliggenheten var veldig god. Det var rent nok. Gratis dusj inkludert, noe som ikke var tilfelle tidligere på slike overnattingssteder. Personlig og hyggelig service.

Hytta var gammel, fra 70-tallet. Den var vedlikeholdt, men ikke mer enn det. Felles toaletter og vask var funksjonelt, men ikke påkostet. Resepsjonen var ikke aktiv, man forhold seg direkte til han som bodde i huset i tilknytning til anlegget og som drev stedet.

Mai sentito così sporco

Il prezzo era basso per la Norvegia.

La pulizia assente nel bungalow (le lenzuola e il divano-letto puzzavano di fumo), la dotazione era insoddisfacente (piastre inefficenti dal punto di vista energetico, abbiamo impiegato un'ora per cucinare una pasta perché la temperatura dell'acqua non saliva) così come gli accessori (la televisione non aveva nessun programma disponibile, tanto vale non metterla). Gli spazi in comune erano lerci e datati, con un bagno su due (per gli uomini) sempre fuori uso ed il piatto per la doccia in condizioni pietose.
