I accidentally left behind a pair of walking shoes when I left. Since I needed to catch a train to Milan, I was worried that going back to retrieve them (I had already checked out and didn't have the keys) might cause me to miss my train. So, I messaged the owner to apologize and ask if he could help me dispose of the shoes. I quickly received a reply saying that if I provided my address, he could ship them to me. I was so touched! The next day, I received a photo of the tracking receipt for the package. I'm so grateful!

The location is fantastic, just a 250-meter walk from Bologna Metro Station (Metro B line 3 stops from Termini station), super convenient! There are many cafes and restaurants near the accommodation. If you get tired of Italian food, I recommend Mr. Chan Chinese Restaurant nearby; it's cheap and delicious, and it stays open until late at night, which is really convenient for tourists who have been sightseeing all day and are returning late without having to rush to find a place to sit down for dinner. The apartment owner is incredibly kind. When I arrived, I notified him through booking.com messenger, and he immediately came downstairs to open the gate door. The apartment is on the 5th floor with an elevator. The owner also lives here, but of course, it's a separate room. The bathroom opposite is for guests' private use, while the kitchen is shared. However, I was busy sightseeing every day and didn't use it. There is a washing machine in the bathroom, which you can use freely, which is really great.

Everything you need is there, because it's a house and the owner lives there too. There were things to eat for free, that the owner offered.

It's a house, you don't have enough privacy as the landlord lives in the same house, it's not so clean, and he rushes you to get out bringing his guests or friends. He has to specify what time is the check out as he rushes you since 10 am. You don't feel so comfortable staying in his house. Communication is a bit difficult as he barely speaks English.
