Idyllic base for exploring Cap Sizun . . . but keep that a secret ;-)

Excellent location to explore Cap Sizun. Sensitively restored old mill retaining much of its original charm. For me it was the perfect, comfortable base for visiting various spots in the area. Clean, pretty well equipped inside with some nice touches. Using the spiral stone staircase is not the easiest if you're tall but I got the hang of the various manoeuvres necessary after a day or two. For this reason its perhaps not the best place to stay if you have mobility issues but the garden suite is always there if needed. The overall decor and facilites were very good: kitchen, shower, bed, etc all without any problems. Its a quiet spot with very little traffic outside when I was there in October and I'd recommend this place for couples seeking an away-from-it-all experience whether for a week or just a weekend. I would quite happily have stayed on another few days had it been possible as I was starting to feel at home there after 8 days !

Nothing really, a few minor glitches that you could expect day to day in your own home but these were easily sorted

A perfect hideaway in rural Brittany.

In a very nice, quiet place, a few hundred meters from the sea. A small garden and a special windmill building. It's perfect to get away.

Quirky property in great location

Good location beside the road leading to the Pointe du Raz and Pointe du Van plus the popular surf beach Baie des Trépassés. Plenty of space to park and turn, nice garden and deck. The caretakers were adorable and more than happy to tell us (in French) about nearby walks to enjoy. The property was well equipped and a treat to experience, with the history and old stones.

It wasn't clear when I booked that a) the double room is up in the eaves of the mill with an open stone staircase that's original and wonderful but not child-friendly, and b) the twin room is in a completely separate building out in the garden. It would be ideal for some family set-ups but caused problems for us with a young child. Also, a miscommunication or lack of communication meant that the caretakers were not expecting us, the first they knew about it was my call an hour before our intended arrival.

Super verblijf en geweldige gastvrouw/-heer

Locatie ,tuin devrijheid en de molen zelf.

De beetje muffe geur in het verblijf welke waarschijnlijk aan de vochtigheid in de molen is te wijten. Ook gezien de geplaatste en aanwezige vochtvreters.

Es war wunderbar!

Wir wurden an der Unterkunft freundlich begrüßt und in die Besonderheiten der Mühle eingeführt. Die Lage ist direkt an einer Straße, die nicht sehr befahren ist, und man kann sofort von der Unterkunft loslaufen, denn der Wanderweg führt durch den Garten. Die Mühle ist gut ausgestattet und das Schlafzimmer oben ist sehr gemütlich mit eigener Terrasse. Man hat einen eigenen schönen Garten, in dem man sehr schön sitzen und essen kann. Auch grillen wäre möglich gewesen.

Die Treppe nach oben ist schon herausfordernd, aber für alle, die gut zu Fuß sind auch eine schöne Besonderheit.

Un moulin taillé pour les vacances

Le moulin et sa chambre avec terrasse, un endroit où on se sent bien. La situation du moulin, pour peu que vous marchiez quelques kilomètres par jour en dehors des parkings à touristes, la beauté de ce coin de Bretagne s'offrira a vous. L'accueil et la gentillesse de Thérèse et Henri.

Il manque un lave linge et un barbecue pour que ce soit parfait.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Moulin Kernot.

Die Moulin de Kernot ist ein „runde“ Unterkunft mit Ecken und Kanten. Ein wirklich außergewöhnliche Unterkunft die toll gelegen ist. Besonders das Gartenhäuschen ist auch gemütlich und sehr angenehm. Sympathische und hilfsbereite war das Ehepaar,dass sich um die Unterkunft kümmert.

Der Zugang zur Schlafebene ist schon etwas tricky und der Wohnbereich ist leider sehr dunkel. Im Haupthaus findet man keinen Platz für Koffer und seine Anziehsachen.

Magnifique lieu

Un endroit magique, calme. 1ère plage à moins de 3 kms. Plage de galets et sable fin. Visite de Locronan, petit village qui vaut le détour. Mais déjà, à l'arrivée nous sommes accueillis par un charmant couple, Thérèse et Henry, très sympas. Ils nous donnent des idées de sorties... Endroit que nous recommandons sans problème et que nous aurons vraiment plaisir à relouer.

Juste qu'il faudrait préciser dans l'annonce que la 2eme chambre est à part du moulin. 🏠 Pour un couple, l'endroit est parfait 👍 A refaire les yeux fermés.👌
