Best accomodation (price vs value) during my motorcycle trip around

Absolutely astonishing ratio for value vs price, definitely best in my whole motorcycle trip. Location very calm and silent during the night. Owner very friendly, room well equiped with coffee and tea. Small fan available thus no need for air-conditioning. Possibility to park the motorcycle in the yard.

Good for a budget property - don't expect any luxury, but you're not charged as such, too. Dedicated parking place in front of the building, easy to access.

Quite a few mosquitoes despite the mosquito nets on windows, be prepared with anti-mosquito capability just in case. Not so great smell in the bathroom, though tolerable level

Very nice accomodation in Deva. We especially enjoyed being able to use some tools from the garage as we had some work to do on our motorcycles. The hosts were very nice and helpful. Parking available with no issues.

Comfortable and cheap rooms in Deva

The place doesn't look impressive from outside, but it is very nice and clean inside. We had two pretty big rooms. There was a lot of space for 6 of us. The bathroom was big and clean. The hosts were really nice and spoke good English. There are shops and restaurant within the distance of 5 to 10 minutes of walk. This is a good place if you want to visit an amazing Hunedoara castle.

No air conditioning. No dedicated parking place - finding a place for parking may be difficult.

Incredible value for money and really nice people

We have chosen Hompot for a one night stay to replenish our batteries before visiting Castle Corvinus in nearby Hunedoara and moving on to Sibiu. We arrived several hours after our estimated arrival time and the owners were super nice about it and saved us a parking spot. The accommodation offers an incredible value for money! Even if some elements were a bit improvised, everything was super clean and functional.

Nothing really, especially considering the price we paid.

JUST AWESOME!

Just as if someone asked me how I would prefer my accommodation before they build it. Really nice guy, simply loved how he put everything together; he even built some of the beds with available wood planks. True homesteader, and you gotta love and respect that. Just stayed for one night... will definitely use it with no exception each time in Deva. For me, this is the kind of place where I feel at home.

There was nothing not to like. The guy had pork ham hung up for curing. Everything was made from upcycled furniture; you could see the guy built everything with his own hands and love. That is the kind of business I love to support! Kudos!

Charming Stay

I had the single room with own shower/toilet. Very clean (the bathroom was spotless) and the microwave was a nice touch. The bed is extremely comfortable, my 2 nights here were met with a want to lie in.. There is a tv and free wifi but I didn't use either - I spent my free time in the pool outside or chatting with the hosts, absolutely brilliant people! I felt very welcome. A truly wonderful gem tucked away about 25min walk from the station, this place has a charming vibe and I already want to book my next stay! The bus stop is just outside too. There is a plethora of restaurants, cafes and shops between here and the old town so even a 5 minute walk gives you options.
