Rustic Cabin Near Mt Rainier: Fire Pit & BBQ!

The home was spacious and comfortably slept 5. It was about a 25 minute drive to the Stevens Canyon entrance of Mount Rainier National Park which was great for us as we were spending several days in the park. The Packwood town was very nice with lots of choices for restaurants and a nicely stocked grocery store as well. The home was clean and everything that was promised was there!

brought my children snowboarding and this cabin was a splendid way to settle in after a day on the slopes. Would stay here again anytime!

This was our second time staying here and it was a perfect getaway for my family. Great location and very responsive host.

Very cozy. The beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was fully furnished as promised. Everything worked well, including the dishwasher, the toaster, washer/dryer, and showers. We even got visited by a couple of female elk once! The view into the meadow and part of a mountain was lovely as well (although I'm guessing by the housing construction that a good chunk of the meadow view will be obstructed when it's finished). Would definitely come back!

The checkout process was a bit more tedious (putting away clean dishes, starting the dishwasher, stripping bed linens and towels, taking out the trash). On a side note, I would have liked a few Kleenex boxes. In the master bedroom the windows above the bed have no shades so it's difficult to sleep in.
