Excellent short Holidays

The property wasn’t far from the seaside and from my balcony I had a beautiful sea view. My room was clean, full of light and warm. The manager was always ready to help, offering useful suggestions and making sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. His friendly attitude really made a difference and created a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

A memorable getaway

We stayed one night at Joanna Suites and had a really pleasant experience. The staff were welcoming and made us feel at home right away. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short stay. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. Overall, a great choice for a quick getaway — we’d happily stay here again!

It was clean, it looked exactly like on photos. Balcony was big. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was beautiful. Host and staff was really nice. Comunication with host through whatsapp was fast. Cleaning lady checked us in earlier.

Super amazing location - right near Sarandë, close to the beach, port, restaurants, shops! The room and space is great and has an amazing view of the ocean.

Good host

The host was excellent, always responded to my questions and support in getting to know what to do and how to get to the place. Accommodation was good, the only issue was we kept hitting our legs on the bed, this is due to the sharpness of the edge of the bed, they might need to consider cushioning the edges, a painful experience and it happened to everyone of us. So if you’re using room 1 be mindful of this. The accommodation is in a hill, if you’re a wheelchair user that’ll be difficult for you. All in all good stay

Super friendly, modern and great location

We had such a great time, the room was lovely, really modern, air con and the bed was super comfortable. It was important to us to have private parking and be able to get out of town easily. The location is great a little walk to the beach and centre. Our host was so helpful and kind, I needed assistance with our car and he sorted it out within the hour. He went above and beyond and rallied around his friends to get our car back on the road. We definitely reccomend and would stay again.

Great room at a nice location

Very spacious and comfortable room, with everything you need. Easy street parking. Good location, only 5min to the sea. Own entrance to the room. Overall, good value for money.

Wifi was too far away, hence a very weak signal, but that probably depends on which room you get. Balcony didn’t have sitting opportunities. While we were there, there were a lot of kids hanging around the property, seemingly using my advantage of the wifi that was displayed on the front door and they were a little bit loud (Kids being kids), but nothing major.

Overall this was a very unpleasant first visit to Sarande due to lack of sleep we had and resulted in cutting our trip s

Apart from being within walking distance to the promenade this property really disappointed us!

On initial arrival there was no one around to check us in, we were met by a door with a telephone number on to ring (not very convenient at all) we had to purchase an Albanian sim card and set it up standing outside the property just to be able to call them…. Before we managed to call them someone appeared from the “reception” door who appeared half asleep and was in there the whole time, looked like we woke him up (late afternoon)! The next check in issue was that we were told we HAD to pay in cash in Euro’s only. The most rediculous and unprofessional request ever. The property needs to inform guests BEFORE arriving that they need to have the cash available to pay in Euros. The property itself from outside looks nice and modern but inside the property has a lot of unfinished or poorly finished areas for example our bathroom had exposed wires sticking out the wall. Part of the door frame fell off one day whilst in the bathroom and just missed me, poorly ‘glued’ into place. There is no cleaning or replacement of towels/bedding unless you ask and that is if you ever can The room needs a broom at least as it became dirty/dusty very quickly. Our biggest disappointment was the noise. We don’t recommend this property if you want sleep. Anyone walking in the corridors or next door sound like they are in your room so were woken up at all hours, the road is fairy busy and noisy especially in the morning and the bed was uncomfortable.

Not worth the money for what you get

You can tell that the building was built within a very short time and without love to any detail. Loose power cables coming out of the walls from everywhere. Shower has no shower partition and therefore the whole toilet seat which is directly next to the shower gets wet all the time. Also the toilet seat was broken and slipped back and forth all the time. Also the toilet lid fell down some times so I got bruises on my back while using the toilet. Although the location of the “hotel” is quite nice as it’s in the center of Saranda. But the noise is so load (clubs in front of the building). And also the street is load especially in the morning and during the day. And you can hear even the other guests. On top, it gets very dirty in the suit because of the dusty streets. But no vacuum cleaner, no broom or anything. Also the “kitchen” is poorly furnished. 2 glasses, 2 spoons, 2 knives, etc. but no dish towel or anything to clean the dishes. Also the bin is quite small and as we stayed there for 7 days, it was quite full within the first days. But no one came to clean. I do understand this in an Airbnb where you have everything to be able to clean the apartment by yourself. But here, we had nothing and as mentioned with the dirt from outside, the apartment gets awfully dusty. Wouldn’t recommend the hotel/ apartment as it’s a waste of money ! Super disappointed!

Apartment is brand new with a large balcony. A few meters away there is a well-stocked shop, a few small local taverns and bars where the people are friendly. Approx. 3.5 km away is the Lekuresi castle on top of the hill, where the view is phenomenal.

our stay was excellent. Juli was very friendly and helpful, booking us taxis to and from the places we wanted to visit! the staff was quick and very friendly! made our stay very comfortable. our room was good. cleaned every day with fresh towels etc. lovely view which we paid only slightly more for. AC was great and cooled us down all the time.the location was so close to the main area of the town, a 5 min walk to closest restaurant and bars.beaches nearby are lovely. overall i highly recommend this place as we were treated very well and it was all very pleasant!

Brand New Modern hotel, great location and great value!

The location was perfect close to the blvd and city beach. There were many restaurants and activities in the area. The hotel was very clean and modern. Beds super comfy and the pillows very high quality. Honestly one of the nicest places for a really great price. Oh and great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Air conditioner worked really well and there are dishes and pots to make food. The host is very friendly and if you ask for anything they get it right away for be you . The WiFi Also really nice. Building well maintained. Inside and outside.

Cables on street broken for television not hotels fault. But honestly don’t watch much television anyhow. Wi-Fi was good so used that.

the flat was brand new, really comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. location was good too just a few minutes away from the beach and the centre and in a quiet neighbourhood. the balcony and kitchen were definitely nice to have too.
