The Hideout House

So much charm and character. Stunning outlook. Enormous house with so many different places to curl up. Fantastic for a large group. Would absolutely stay again.

No blinds/curtains in many of the bedrooms and bathroom, meaning some privacy issues and being woken by the sun super early.

The house was beautiful and homely with lots of character. There were nooks and crannies with various different spaces for relaxing. The verandah was our favourite spot for sitting and chatting. The property was large with a gorgeous outlook and a lovely pool area. The beds were comfortable and we had ample room for our group of 10. The house was well equipped. We had everything we needed and it was close to Mullumbimby and other attractions in the Byron area.

Beautiful peaceful and scenic location. The home was comfortable and homely and well equipped. It had lots of lovely little areas to sit and “do your thing” if you wanted to, and lovely grounds. Perfect really, for a family getaway.

As it is an older home, with lots of character, we didn’t really mind a few squeaky floorboards and door hinges.

the pool, the view and the location in proximity to Mullumbimby and Byron were great! the kitchen was supplied quite well with all equipment. w

the floor plan was quite cluttered and needs a re vamp to suit larger groups. The furniture also wasn’t tailored to large groups e.g. the outdoor setting and balcony could only fit 8 people maximum. with so many beds and rooms, the property could do with an additional bathroom
