MASSERIA INCANTAMENTO Suite Bouganville

We had a lovely stay at this nice old house with the great swimming pool. The Apartment was also very nice and gave us a feeling of staying at a friend’s house as a guest. The bedrooms have a quiet good working airconditioning, as has the living room. We had outside temperatures of +37 degrees Celsius and the house stayed dry and cool. The property around the house as well as the pool was maintained by a very nice man who dropped by every day.

I am an outdoorsman, love walk straight outside from my home into nature, unfortunately the apartment was on the first floor, so you always had to walk stairs before you would be in the garden.

We loved the stay! You do not get the complete Villa, but it was very big and beautiful. We enjoyed every second! Giorgio was very helpful and took good care of everything. Thank you for the lovely stay!

We had an amazing stay at the villa. The swimming pool is huge and nice big area around it. The house is spacious and has everything you need for a stay. Location is peaceful and if you have a car very convenient to shops and nearby wineries. We had such a nice time that we even stayed longer than planned.

The host Giorgio was the highlight of the stay. He responded quickly and reliably on whatsapp, gave us really good recommendations on restaurants and beaches to visit. He even bought fresh croissants to eat for breakfast, so unexpected and nice 😃. The inside of the apartment felt like coming to someone’s home, in a nice and cozy way. During our conversation, when we verbally gave him our feedback, we learned that he has a lot of plans for the property and that major improvements are to be made in the future. We look forward to visiting the villa in a few years, when the outside matches the inside.

We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children, we booked this to get 3 bedrooms but only got two. The bedroom with hot tub was closed/blocked even though it was inside our apartment and included in our booking agreement. Apparently to use it we had to pay extra, no information about this when we booked. The outside surrounding need some love. Weeds between the stone slabs. The pool didn’t felt fresh the first 1-2 days of our stay, then it was cleaned. The backyard is a new area for parking and also needs some green fingers to make the impression better and create a coziness. The whole building has indeed patina but not in a good way. Renovation and restoration required.
