First Camp Björknäs-Boden

Location was pleasant and convenient for local supermarket and shops. On site facilities limited due to end of season, but better during the summer season. Close to 94 and main road into town centre.

Booking system! Arrived late as advised. No SMS code sent for key. No booking apparently. Reception was closed. Rang around First Camp until someone agreed to come to the campsite. Staff member was exceptional in her efforts, only, tried to offer us a stuga without a bathroom! At 10pm at night, cold and raining, after 2 hrs journey, not impressive. Given the stuga we actually booked after much negotiation. The accommodation was tired in decor, broken blinds, dirty bedding, leaking boiler in bathroom, required renovation! Clean and acceptable otherwise. Not worth the price, but other accommodation in the area was fully booked. Interesting parking system, next door was parked right outside the window, close enough to have breakfast with us! Thankfully quiet during our stay, in fact, it was deserted on the Saturday, after we were told it was fully booked!
