Longhill Reserve

Staff were friendly and professional. Food was great and so was the peace and tranquility. Enjoyed every moment of it and would definitely stay there again. Special shout out to Danielle for being so friendly upon arrival and throughout the weekend.

I recommend installing gas heaters as the solar geyser can sometimes mess one around. So I struggled with hot water and so did other guests.

The staff were incredible and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well cared for. The owners were also extremely friendly and hospitable. The location is outstanding—a beautiful lodge situated close to Addo National Park. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

We stayed in one of the tents, and unfortunately there was no heating, so the nights were quite cold. The staff kindly provided us with a small heater/fan, which was much appreciated, but we still felt chilly. The hot water also seemed to rely entirely on solar heating, and during our three-day stay we never had truly hot water for showers. This may not be an issue for everyone, but guests who are sensitive to the cold should keep this in mind. Unfortunately, the hot tub never got truly warm during our stay, despite the staff setting it up for us. We suspect the cold weather may simply have been too much for it to heat up properly.

We were staying at Maverick Luxury tents, and the staff were most helpful during the loss of electricity. This was due to the inclement weather. We would like to thank Talent and Q for relocating us to Longhill Lodge. We would like to suggest adding torches to Maverick Luxury Tents due to that area being an eco lodge and solar powered. The food at both the Boma and Lodge was absolutely delicious. We would like to thank the catering staff as they were so friendly and cooked food of a high quality.

We enjoyed everything. There wasn't anything to dislike. We would highly recommend this amazing establishment. The Maverick Luxury Tents would be perfect in Summer.

The staff was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process (booking - staying - check out). The food was delicious and Tian, our Game Driver was very knowledgeable. We had a Luxury tent which was fun especially with the kids.
