Wonderful place to stay with the comforts of home.

Very nice. Bigger than it looks. Smelled really clean the moment you walked in. Loved the gift basket. Was supplied with just about anything you would need. The backyard is awesome! Close to everything. Big kitchen!

The clear glass cutouts at the front door with no coverings. The road is a little noisy. The cushions on the chairs in the kitchen are pretty filthy. House was pretty cold (heaters had a hard time keeping up) but it was very cold outside.

Great place!

The house was updated, cute, and cozy. It was the perfect place for our girls' weekend.

There wasn't anything that we did not like. Maybe a heads up that it is in the parking lot of a hotel. I had groceries delivered before we arrived, the driver called asking if he should leave them at the front desk. We panicked for a minute. 😂

Cute property but shady owner

It was cute the back yard was really nice bed was comfy

The house did not have trash bags dish detergent laundry detergent no access to cleaning supplies. We left dirty linens in laundry room as instructed and we vaccummed took out trash before leaving and I did pay a cleaning fee and was told to notify owner when we checked out so their cleaning staff could clean the unit. I did that and didn't worry about it. Unit has connections to comfort inn so I believed it was their cleaning staff that the cleaning fee was for... Nope I was expected to clean and do laundry without supplies to do so. I found out hours later when the owner tried to charge me $100 in "damages" aka some unwashed linens and bathroom trash. I took care of the place during my stay and even made them of a leak I found that could have damaged the property. And they tried to swindle me. Highly disrespectful Next time I will find a hotel because I don't like surprise fees and unspoken expectations

Very nice, worth the money

The location was perfect for family get together. Grandma here. I rented the site for the week for my children with my grandchildren traveling from another state. They were here during a holiday week. I wanted them to have their own space. The lower rating for the key on arrival, following the links sent by text to get into the property and you will have no issues. It took us a little longer to figure that out. Not the owner's fault.. Ours, but I wanted to put some emphasis on it. The property was clean and appealing to all. Family was very appreciative. We asked for a crib and found it in the closet. The backyard space was really nice. The kids loved it. The bonus was the pass to the indoor pool at the hotel next door and the little gift left for them! The grandchildren truly loved the experience.

Lovely house

The house was great! I loved the backyard. We didn't get to use the firepit but plan to on our next stay. The hot tub was so relaxing after a day walking around Madison! The grill with charcoal/propane/smoker with a gazebo cover was a great option as well for those planning to grill out during their stay. And plenty of grassy yard left if you brought cornhole or other fun outdoor games!

Only downside is my husband is in a wheelchair and the bathrooms were completely inaccessible for him due to the narrow doors. The master bedroom has a large vanity sink in it though that was the perfect height for him to wheel up under to brush his teeth and whatnot.

We both enjoyed the comfort and hot tub. Also enjoyed the rolls that were on the counter when we arrived. Lovely little cottage that was great for us both.

The only trouble we had was the shower drains would back up and toilets would not flush in the mornings. This happened 2 of the 3 mornings we stayed.

A Perfect Little Get Away!!!

The house was perfect. It was really roomy and pretty inside. I love the layout and the bed sizes. The location of the bathrooms were perfect for the kids to stay there with me. It was perfect for my family of 5.

The door code was hard to use. It sometimes would not allow me to put the code in the first or second time I tapped the screen. It is not made to be user friend. There was instructions there but the screen just was not as sensitive as I hoped for.

I can’t wait to stay here again!

It was clean, beautiful and comfortable. The weather was extremely hot and humid but the air conditioning kept the house at the perfect temperature. It was too hot to use the outside hot tub,grill and fire pit. I was really looking forward to using those. But they were available and would have been awesome.

We had a wonderful time. Honestly, the rain made my grandsons hang out more with me.

It was a very comfortable space. My daughter and grandsons had a wonderful time. The dishes and kitchen utensils were well stocked and more than adequate for our needs.

Only problem was that the hot tub needs to be treated with pool shock. Not too bad to use, but it needs treated. Also, the grill did not light. I suspect because it rained large parts of every day we were there. The hosts have no control over the weather so it is not an issue for me.

I don't really like staying in hotels, but the Comfy Cottage felt like a home and it was great!

The Red Comfy Cottage was perfect for a couple and an an aging mother traveling together. 2 hotel rooms would have been isolating for mom, but this feels like a home. The big eat-in kitchen was great for our breakfasts and quick lunches/dinners when we were tired of restaurants. It is VERY comfortable & VERY clean. The location is good, between the 'hilltop' franchise shopping/fast food area and the beautiful Downtown Historic Main Street area. It felt more like going back to a home than a hotel after our days running around. We were a little apprehensive when we drove up since it faces a parking lot and a road (not much curb appeal), but it was actually very quiet and we never heard any outside noise. We plan to stay here again next time we're back in Madison.

The only flaws were the internet is extremely slow (almost unusable for a laptop), and the bathtub in the king sized bathroom didn't drain well (water built up during showers). Last, the toilets are very low and small, and the one in the king bedroom rocked (not fastened down). The change to new chair height elongated toilets would go a long way towards the comfort, and unclog that bathtub drain. Everything else about the stay was GREAT! We will be back.
