The Onyx Suite - 1 Bed apartment w/ free parking

Only issue was an old smoke smell but it's clear they are trying to deal with it- lots of plug ins etc.

The place was ok

Could do with more cutlery plates ect and bathroom could do with some shower toiletries

Stayed before and would stay again no issues

Needs a tea towel and a wine glass or two🍷

Proximity to the venue where we worked. Very quiet complex, restful area. Close to Waitrose and Lidl. Responsive host during work hours. Easy check-in with lock box.

Dirty, greasy cutlery and crockery, pots, stovetop and oven. Damaged pots. Damage on top of the lounge coffee table. The TV screen is dirty, with smear marks from a cloth. Broken, lifting laminate flooring in the lounge. The shower leaks over the rim of the bathtub, making a big puddle on the floor (the glass partition does not do the job, as it is not sealed). both couch seats are collapsed (springs inside) so you have to sit on a cushion. The heating in the entrance hall and lounge was not working (though a substitute was offered by switching on the heater in the kitchen). Very Spartan furniture and cupboard space - the cupboard in the bedroom is minute, and the other spaces are like 'workbenches' from a garage. WiFi was often unresponsive. This is not the quality we expect from Booking.com, I would not recommend staying here. I hoped that after the reviews over the years that spoke about the same bad quality, these issues would have been addressed. I would expect at least a clean apartment for this price.
