Great hosts, very nice location, cozy yard where one can enjoy beautiful summer weather. Jūrmala beach is literally 3 minutes of walk away.
The strongest recommendation I can give to the owners is to install anti-mosquito nets on windows. Staying inside during summer heat with windows closed is impossible, but opening the windows at night immediately attracts swarms of mosquitos if you have the lights on. Nets would probably help prevent other fauna from entering the house as well, because I did encounter some. Nothing crazy, but some people may be affected by it.
