The Flaxman Studio - Panoramic Ocean Views

We enjoyed the space, the quietness, the views, the large screen TV, the pretty garden walking in and the comfortable beds over 5 nights. The studio apartment was well equipped with all the kitchen utensils we needed, some games and a bonus Nespresso machine with milk frother. Rosie was very quick replying to any questions we had and was very accommodating, a great host!

Minor points but my daughter has longer showers and only once I had the hot water run out on me. Another time I couldn't find fly spray / a swatter, but maybe didn't look well enough. Very little to grizzle about because it is so nice!

Lovely space in a great location. Clean, private, quiet. The bedding and pillows were great. Kitchen is functional. Great tech available with a fully functional smart tv and wifi. Responsive host when we had an issue with the water pressure.

Some furniture could do with fixing or replacing. Ripped seating, sunken armrests. A larger fridge would've been great. Lack of storage in the bathroom, if you wanted to use an appliance at the sink for example. Shower pressure and spray leaves a lot to be desired, very weak.

The studio was very comfortable and a relaxing place to stay. We loved the style and decor. We really liked the view of the bay/harbour and didn't mind being a little way from the centre of town.

Very little we didn't like. Maybe to mention that the cooking hotplate was 'out of order' and the replacement was adequate but not perfect. We like cooking for ourselves, so this was the only downside.

Clean Hot water TV Plenty of room

Dog barking throughout night Some safety issues: Bedside light had power on but light globe was missing. So we had to transfer a globe to it from another lamp in lounge area. Middle sliding door (and its screen) were unlocked upon arrival. Door actually not possible to lock No night lights on the descending pathway to front entry. No sms response to a request sent days’ before a one hour earlier arrival time. We also tried on the day but owner message bank full. Was 5 mins before the actual advertised arrival time that we received contact from the owner
