Review of Los Seres Apartment, Tenerife (Calle Oregon) The Los Seres apartment at Calle Oregon in Tenerife is a mixed bag with some positive features but numerous frustrating drawbacks. While the location has its perks and basic amenities are provided, the overall experience was marred by poor communication, lack of preparation, and a general sense of unwelcoming detachment from the hosts. Location (3/5) The apartment is close to some amenities, such as supermarkets and small businesses, and its proximity to Los Cristianos beach (about 700m away) and Las Americas (a longer walk) is a definite advantage. However, getting to the beachfront requires a 15–20 minute walk or a car, which may not suit everyone. Apartment Features (2/5) The apartment itself is basic, with IKEA furniture and minimal effort put into making it feel welcoming. It includes: Bedroom: One bedroom with a comfortable double bed and two small built-in cupboards, which might feel cramped for longer stays. Lounge: A second bed near the sofa, which could be useful for additional guests. Kitchen: Equipped with a fridge freezer, cooking facilities, and a washing machine, which are helpful for a longer stay. However, there were no cleaning products provided. I had to purchase not only standard cleaning supplies but also a special product to unclog the shower drain, which had been flagged by previous reviewers—a clear sign that the owners don’t address feedback. Noise & Ventilation: The apartment feels stuffy, and leaving the patio doors open invites dust and leaves. Figuring out how to lock the patio doors took me two days, as no instructions were provided. Noise from neighbors and common areas is noticeable due to poor soundproofing. Extras: The smart TV with Netflix compatibility and free Wi-Fi were appreciated.
