Spacious rooms in an excellent location with beautiful views. Staff were nice
The shower pressure and also the shower water smelt like sewerage for about 5 mins when you first turn it on. Also, the choices at breakfast were pretty average.

Hotel Caramare and Cala Gonone exceeded our expectations - this was the highlight of our stay in Sardinia. Our room had stunning views across the Gulf of Oresei and while it wasn't huge, it had good storage spaces and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all wonderful, breakfast was very good (including the best coffee we'd had for a while) and there is parking for 10 Euros a day behind the hotel. It's an easy walk through Cala Gonone to all the bars, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Shout out to Prima Sardegna for helping us with a sunrise kayak rental and a full day boat cruise - both were great.
It's on the edge of Cala Gonone, just past the marina - it's quiet but expect to walk 10 minutes + to the beaches.
