hi i stayed one night ,I never stayed apartment like this ,interior and design was awesome ,everything works perfectly,alesso and his wife both are very friendly and helpfull ,they dropped me in my meeting place their car without any charges , great location ,good restaurants near by ,perfect place to stay I visit again

We rented the Campana Silver suite, which included two bedrooms. The bedroom are spacious, very well curated, and tastefully furnished. The common spaces (which are shared between the occupants of the two suites, the Gold and the Silver) are beautiful. Bibbiena is a beautiful small town and it's very conveniently located to tour the area.

There were two things that we did not appreciate. First, there is a security camera in the living room. I am not sure about the legal status of this. But, even if it's legal, it's an unacceptable invasion of privacy. We would simply not have rented the suite had we known about this. (Of course, this was not mentioned in the description of the place.) Second, the hosts have excessively stringent rules. In particular, guests are forbidden from eating or drinking anything in the living room. While we respected this rule during our stay, this definitely decreased our enjoyment of the property. Again, we would not have rented the suites had we known that we were not even allowed to sit in the living room and have a chat while sipping a cup of tea or a glass of wine. EDIT: Thanks for your response. Re the description of the place including cameras: the information in the listing is incomplete and misleading. The listing says that there are security cameras in "common areas". This might include an external hallway, the entrance door, or whatever else. One simply does not expect that there are going to be cameras in the main room of the property. Also, as you point out, the cameras are not intended for the security of the guests—rather, as you yourself say, they are intended for *surveillance* of the guests, since you're worried that they might damage the frescoes. So it seems misleading to treat them as a "security feature" of the apartment. Re drinking in the living room: I would not expect to *party* in the living room, but I would expect to be allowed to drink a glass of wine or a cup of tea. This is what most people do in their living rooms, especially when they are with friends. So yes, the rules are unusually stringent and this should be stated. The bottom line is: the living room in the apartment is pretty much a small museum, rather than a room where one can relax and feel at home.
