The absolute best accommodation.

We have stayed in 60 plus properties with booking.com and this is the absolute best. A real gem of a place. It is so beautifully designed and decorated. The view was stunning. I would like to come back for a longer stay.

Just book it, you won't regret it

Everything. Probably the nicest place I've ever stayed, property and location wise. Owner was super friendly and left us to do our own thing but was also available if needed. Photos do not do this place justice, what an amazing property and had everything you can think of. Sitting on the balcony and eating the evening meal with the sunsetting was perfection. Would highly recommend this property and the host. Perfect and I would give it more than 10/10 if that was possible.

Fantastic, spacious house with comfortable, stylish facilities

We chose the house for the amazing view towards Lons le Saunier and stylish interior and weren’t disappointed. There was plenty of room both outside and in and the kitchen was well equipped and a delight to prepare meals in. We loved the walk in shower and appreciated the laundry room and dishwasher. The log burner was a bonus as it suddenly turned very chilly when we were there. Lovely outside seating areas front and back so we could catch both morning and evening sun (when it shone!). Xavier lives upstairs and was very friendly and gave us an initial tour of the house with useful information. There are lots of leaflets and books in the kitchen which we found useful for planning walks.

The covered parking on the premises was a bit tight for a larger car, but still ok. It’s a shame there are no shops or restaurants in Montaigu itself so you definitely need a car. Lons le Saunier is great for supermarkets and restaurants and is only a 5 minute drive away but not really walkable as the hill is very steep and the roads are main roads.

Great stay in a great house with a great host.

Beautifully renovated home in a very quiet location with a great balcony with panoramic views over the countryside and the town of Lons le Saunier. Private off street parking is available. Xavier was an excellent host, very friendly and helpful. We would have no hesitation recommending this place to anyone visiting the area.

Sehr empfehlenswert.

The apartment is very nicely, generously and of high quality standards equipped with all the usual things you might need during your stay. In case of bad weather (we never had during last week August 2022) you have the choice of two huge TV-Screens in the living room and master sleeping room respectively, or a normal one in the kitchen for entertainment during your cooking. Especially, in the spacious kitchen all the normal kitchenware and much more are new and presented in a very attentive way. The newly renovated and decoratively furnished rooms come with more than sufficient space. We very much enjoyed the balcony on the back side, with an open view to the greens of the surrounding hilly gardens, entertaining goats restlessly climbing up and down the terrace walls, and the view to the city of Lons-les-saunier to the left and Jura hills with the medieval town house facades of Montaigu to the right. The landlord family living next door was discreet during our stay, as the apartment designation "L'INATTENDU" makes you expect. But, they did not forget to welcome us with a big piece of Jura Comté cheese supplied in the fridge. This review might sound like a paid ad (which it is not) - we had really nothing to complain about! Louis and Rebecca

Fantastic

The home is big with a huge open kitchen and big bedrooms. Decoration is very enjoyable. Plus the balcony (with its table and chairs) gives a fantastic view down on Lons -le-Saulnier: ideal for afternoon and evening time. There is also a huge cave that you can use. Everything was clean, modern and practical.

Séjour exceptionnel dans le Jura

Emplacement en cœur du village de Montaigu. Vue imprenable sur la vallée de Lons-le-Saunier. Appartement de plein pied avec des accès à une aire de jeu abritée et un jardin. Petite terrasse très bien aménagée au niveau de plein pied, accès par le salon. Un agencement bien réfléchi et un équipement jamais rencontré, un téléviseur dans chaque pièce principale (3 écrans), et un équipement ménager "comme chez soi". Un Chef y aurait trouvé tout ce qui lui aurait été nécessaire. A noter la vaisselle en quantité largement suffisante pour 4 personnes, et un lave vaisselle. Planches à repasser (2), fers à repasser (2) etc..

A mon avis rien à changer, tout est au top. Même le temps était de la partie pour nous offrir de la brume et du soleil. Pour faire une remarque, le Wifi était correct, mais une box nous aurait été utile bien que nous ayons pu nous en passer grâce à nos téléphones et la 5G suffisante dans toutes les pièces.

Le logement très bien aménage avec goût, il est très confortable et dispose de tout ce dont nous aurions pu avoir besoin. La vue est très agréable et c’est très calme. Nous reviendrons sûrement pour un plus long séjour.

Excellent séjour dans un appartement refait à neuf avec une vue incroyable

Logement incroyable, très bien équipé, propre, avec grande terrasse et une vue imprenable sur Lons-le-Saunier. Parfait en famille ou avec des amis. Le propriétaire est sympathique et aidant. Très bonne communication. Je recommande !

Lage ist wunderbar auf dem Weg nach Grenoble… die Aussicht ist einfach toll, die Betten sehr komfortabel. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgerüstet. Verschiedene Kaffemaschinen vor Ort- ich empfehle Kaffe oder Tee mitzubringen. Draußen zu Essen ist bei der Aussicht wundervoll.. wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter! Gastgeber antwortet schnell und ist sehr hilfsbereit bei Fragen. Stylisch und liebevoll eingerichtet !!! Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und kommen gerne wieder 😊
