Amazing place and would 100% recommend for a couple.

The location was amazing, the apartment was very sleek and modern and owner communication was great.

With 2 adult kids it was a bit odd that to have a shower you had to walk naked past the main living area. Not sure if a curtain separating the area would help. The only other suggestion would be to maybe add some cutlery in the kitchen as there were only spoons knives and forks.

Great design, super friendly staff, comfy bed and all the facilities we needed. We could easily walk into town in about 20 minutes. What was also amazing is that they had free parking at a secured parking garage at the end of the street.

The shower was cold. Apparently, the water gets heated by the sun, so you really only have the chance of warm water in the evening. The reception can turn on a certain switch to boost the heat, but we didn't know about this until after using it.

Clean rooms in a good location, great for a few days stay

The hotel is in a good location for getting to the old town area on foot and our room was spotlessly clean. Communication from the owners was great especially as we arrived out-of-hours, and the staff sitting at reception were friendly and helpful. Bed was big and comfortable and the room was well shaded and nice and cool.

Our showerhead was broken and only held to the wall with masking tape (staff were aware but hadn't fixed in time for our stay). The bathroom had a glass door with translucent frosting and opened into the room next to the bed. No issues with privacy (as we're a couple) but using it in the night meant lighting up the whole bedroom, which did disrupt sleep on occasion.

Lovely place away from the crowds of Heraklion

Design is pretty and receptionist Stelios was very nice!

Unfortunately, not sound proof due to use of materials. Stone floor and chairs upstairs made lots of noise, late in the evening and early in the morning. Location is close to center and sea, but the neighbourhood is quite underwhelming.

Nice clean, modern, studio apartment tastefully decorated, for few days stay in Heraklion

Location a little out of the centre but walkable along the seafront so not an issue for me. My studio overlooked an inner courtyard so relatively quiet and peaceful. Studio was spotlessly clean and pretty well equipped for low level self-catering if you were inclined to do so! Plenty of towels provided, nice little balcony for evening drinks. Staff responded quickly to two issues I had during my stay, although reception was not manned all the time, easy to contact via WhatsApp

As above, two issues with water not being hot enough and room lock failed on the last day of my stay, but the staff were easy to contact and quickly sorted the first issue remotely, second issue was fixed by a friendly member of staff who came out on a Sunday to sort (lock failure a very rare occurrence I understand!)

Nice, clean, modern apartment, close to airport.

We stayed at the apartment for only one night, as our flight arrived quite late in Heraklion and we didn't want to be too far of a drive to our destination as we have a little one. The location was easy to navigate from the airport, and the host of the apartment provided great options with regards to parking. The best parking spot was just a few minutes away by foot, free in what I'll call a shopping centre. It was easy enough to park, and then take our bags to the apartment. The apartment was very clean, and you could tell newly renovated, which also made it feel comfortable. We had requested a baby crib and that was provided and setup for us, with fresh sheets. Thank you! Made it so much easier with our late arrival. The shower was clean, towels great, and again a very easy one-night stop for us after a longer day of travel.

We stayed here only one night before our onward journey and it was great. Check in and check out was seamless with clear instructions from the management. It was a very cute room well furnished with a small kitchenette including fridge, hob and microwave. The bed was very comfortable, we slept well. It is located close to the port (where we wanted to be). Bathroom and shower facilities were great with good water pressure and temperature. There was a coffee machine, kettle, tea/ coffee and biscuits provided in the room.

It was located in an area with narrow streets and no space allocated in front of the hotel for loading and unloading. However, the management were helpful in sending information about parking nearby and try to make this process as easy as possible given the limitations.

The bed is extremely comfortable. I slept really well. Also the air conditioning is excellent and quiet. I also liked that the door has a code to open so no need to worry about keys.

Excellent place for a family

Room and equipment are excellent! The personal was very friendly (especially Katarina), everything was set in the room exactly as we asked. The room was deocrated with style.

The situation is maybe not ideal if you want to visit the center of Heraklion. We were on our way to the West of the island so it was not a problem for us but for a longer stay, it might have been annoying.

What a great small-hotel experience! Excellent choice for central yet authentic stay.

The private garden patio was large and beautiful. We ate all our meals out there. The staff were amazing (thank you, Anastasia and Dmitri). Anything we asked for was provided cheerfully and promptly (extra pans, ice cube trays, restaurant reservations). Walk to anything you need or want to see. Comfortable spacious room.

Modern hotel, great price, good location

Awesome stay at Pavo Art, will definitely stay again when we come back to Crete! The rooms are modern, CLEAN, beds are comfy and shower is great. The small kitchen is an extra plus, with coffee capsules, microwave and small fridge (and a hob, but we didn’t use this). Overall, super well equipped. Excellent price. Parking is a bit tricky but doable, and distance to the center is 5 mins with car or a 15/20 mins walk. Loved it!

The room was beautiful, modern, and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Great coffee available in the room. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Located in a nice area to walk, within easy walking distance from the sea and places to eat.

Our only problem was that we did not understand ahead of time that our room number and access code would be sent to us via email or WhatsApp on the day of our arrival. We had not connected to internet while travelling, so we arrived at the hotel around 2:45 am and found no one on duty and didn't have the info needed to access our room. At 3:00 am some very kind guests returning to the hotel helped us call hotel staff and let us use their internet to access our room information. We thank God for the helpful guests and staff at 3 am.
