Bombara by Experience Jervis Bay

Can't beat the location, such a short easy walk to the beach or into town. Generally very clean. Had all the kitchen necessities such as utensils, seasoning, appliances. Lots of spaces to sit with the family, huge outdoor balcony area, would be perfect for entertaining a large group. Also provided a PS2, various games and dvd's. We really appreciated that there was ducted aircon in all the rooms. The main bathroom is nice and large. The apartment is on the 2nd floor but has an elevator so it was easy to get our things in and out. We would definitely stay here again.

There was some wear and tear on some furnishings such as the walls, carpet and couch.

Overall, it’s a very nice place to stay for a holiday. The kitchen was well-equipped with nearly everything you need to feel comfortable. The rooms and services were clean, stylish, in good condition.

While the house is expected to be equipped for 6 people, the BBQ is almost unusable for that size—perhaps more suitable for a couple without kids. The main TV is quite old and not ideal for modern needs, such as connecting to Wi-Fi or screen sharing. In some cases, cleanliness didn’t meet expectations; the BBQ was very dirty, and some surfaces inside were covered in black dust.

Very comfortable and spacious apartment. Great location. Short walk to Huskisson town centre and beach is just down the road.

Location was great, easy walking distance to Husky shops and restaurants! And also so close to shark net beach. The apartment has a good open plan layout with beautiful natural light. Service from landlord was very responsive and prompt to fix an issue we had, even though it was a public holiday! We really appreciated that. 👏 🌟 The bottle of complimentary wine was a lovely little surprise on entering. Has all the appliances available but we only used fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Lovely big kitchen and all utensils which we would have loved to make use of if we'd been staying longer. Water pressure is awesome 👌 Street parking available and easy access to the apartment.

Aircon didn't work the first night and weather was hot and sticky. Still don't know why, but it did decide to work the next day so thankfully we got a better night's sleep after that. Mattress in room we slept in was awful. I may be picky and appreciate a good mattress, but this was next level uncomfortable. Could actually feel springs poking into us. The second night we found some blankets and another 2 doonas which we piled on top of the mattress to try and disguise the hard springs... didn't make a lot of difference though. No idea if it's just super old, or just super thin and cheap?? I may be a comfy bed snob and covert my sleep; but I must say, it did taint our whole visit unpleasantly.
