Great location and comfortable bed. It had everything you need for a stay

The TV didn’t link to the Internet. My main concern was I contacted the owner who replied with incorrect information then ignored any further communication from myself. The contact number in the welcome book was for someone who no longer was involved so if there was a real problem there was no one to contact.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a peaceful weekend away. The views are lovely, and you step out right onto a public footpath so easy to get walking! The surrounding cottages were empty while we were there, so it was very quiet other than walkers going by. Monyash is a lovely village and is well served by The Bull pub which was very busy on a Saturday afternoon. We had a well-earned drink after our walk. The food looked very good although we didn't eat there ourselves. Overall a pleasant stay

We did have trouble with the lock on the front door. It was difficult to turn the key, so it locked properly. It is a solid wooden door, so it might just be due to the hot weather. Luckily, we managed it in the end. As others have said, the TV reception isn't good - you can open the apps, but after selecting a programme, it constantly buffers making it unwatchable. This didn't bother us too much but it might be an issue for some people.

Difficult to find. The sign on the entrance I has 3 letters missing and the instructions were confusing. The TV was very frustrating. It relied on good wi fi which the cottage didn’t have.
