The dishwasher did not work, but that was not really a problem. Otherwise all worked well.

We love the location, the available walks, the local pub (sadly it was closed as they were on their holidsy) but also the proximity to Bakewell, either a nice 2hr walk or a 9 minute drive.
Nothing, we love Denver cottage.

The location was ideal as a base to explore the Peaks District.

It was a lovely, cosy cottage in a peaceful and beautiful location. An authentic farm cottage with everything we needed for a short stay. The outside seating area was an added bonus. Easy to find and good parking.

Self catered accommodation and it was a lovely surprise as the host provided a loaf of bread and milk. Instruction to collect keys were clear and nice little cottage to stay for few days in a good location
Should have pre-informed that only one toilet roll was provided and guests should bring/purchase additional as we were staying for 4D3N! Wifi was not reliable / low connectivity and we couldn't watch any tv programme at all in the evening.

Perfect location on the edge of the village with wonderful views. Great pub close by. The cottage was cosy and comfortable. Very clean. The milk, juice, bread and biscuits was a nice touch. Kitchen was well equipped. Seating area outside overlooking fields. Comfy bed and a good shower. Parking not a problem, right behind the property. Perfect size for a couple.
A bread knife would be useful as well as a couple of larger bowls for pasta

Perfectly located cottage. I stayed here with my son while attending Y-Not festival, it was only a 10 minute drive and nice to come back to a warm and cosy cottage of an evening. Friendly and responsive host and lovely cleaners. A lovely little cottage.
Bed is very soft, and affected sleep a little. Think possibly more my preference. and also had issues with the grill not working, but the host said they would get it looked at. Also, getting the TV to work, but switching it on and off again at the power seemed to fix it. None of this affected the stay and overall was nice and have booked again for next year!

Beautiful setting. Very peaceful. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable.
The tv did not have enough broadband signal to work. We were unable to watch tv.

Cottage was very cosy with lots of space. Host was amazing and the added details really meant a lot to us. Loved the decor in the cottage all over amazing and looking to book again.
Everything was amazing 🤩

Attractive rural location. Relatively newly refurbished. Albeit minimalist, an outdoor seating area. Provision of some basic 'supplies' (bread, jam, milk and biscuits) and toiletries.
Hardly a criticism but old, stone built, farm buildings are rarely light and airy nor intrinsically warm.
Entrance door needs some attention as it doesn't open easily.

Well laid out and supplied with essentials for self catering. Large comfy bed. Private even though on footpath. Good to see folk walking past. Great location

Karen was very friendly and helpful. Lovely location just on the outskirts of Monyash. Provided jam, marmalade, croissants, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion & shower gel. Lots of fluffy white towels. They try to think of everything to make your stay comfortable.
Very accommodating regarding letting us store our bikes in an unused stable.
Just lacked a fixed mirror in the bathroom as the small hand held one was difficult to use and the bedroom mirror was too dark. The seal also fell off the ovan when we opened it which we tried to fix back but was unable to.
The toilet seat was also loose.

Lovely cosy cottage, great location with just a small walk to the Pub and Monyash Centre.
It was spotlessly clean and the owners left bread and even Easter eggs for Easter weekend!
Fantastic, I would recommend and go again.
Nothing, it was fantastic.

Really quiet area, it was nicely decorated and very well equipped. Also the location of Monyash was really handy with few hikes within a walking distance. Amazing cafe in the village with tasty cakes and coffee. Paradise for motorbike riders and fanatics.
The only issue was setting up the hot water on the shower on my first day, but once set up it was all good.

Location of the cottage was very good, on the outskirts of a picturesque Peak District village. The village pub was excellent with an extensive menu and good value food. This is an ideal area for walking with plenty of variety in splendid countryside.
I did not receive any information prior to arrival about the door code, wi-fi codes or any details or instructions about the cottage facilities. Because our arrival was delayed by a road accident and road closures we were unable to gain access to the cottage until notified by the owner after phone calls. I subsequently received the wi-fi code, but never really fathomed the working of the television and the main app channels run off the internet.

Loved everything! It was the most relaxing Christmas ever. The cottage was so cosy and charming. It was equipped with everything you could need. The bedroom was quite spacious and the bed itself was very comfy. It felt like a mini home from home. We didn't want to leave. The host Karen, was great with communication. We walked into the cottage to a lit Christmas tree, a roaring fire playing on the TV and gentle Christmas music playing. Karen left us a bottle of Buck Fizz on the dining table, bread, jams and a Christmas cake. There was tea, coffee, sugar and milk waiting for us. They thought of everything that would make you feel welcome and special. Thank you Karen for the most wonderful stay.
Having to leave!

The let was set in nice surroundings with walls nearby.
The property has no central heating, log burner or any permanent heating installed. Only a couple of portable plug in electric heaters were available. This, we believe, makes Denver cottage completely unsuitable for renting out in the winter months. It has stone walls and floors and it was uncomfortably cold. The owners, who are Hoteliers, obviously don’t feel the need to repair the heating as we were told the let(it’s not a cottage) had been using the portable heaters for a year with no complaints. We feel Denver is being used as a cynical money maker. The furniture, what there is, is cheap. Even the washing up liquid was watered down, which really shows there’s not much love given to the place. We left after the first night and stayed somewhere else, that was warm and comfortable.

Breakfast not included but certain items like bread, milk, jam were provided (also bottle of wine!) which was nice. Location was excellent - just on outskirts of charming village with access to great country walks.
I have a personal preference to a harder (orthopaedic) bed mattress.

Lovely location, host was nice and let us know the details on time. The countryside on your doorstep, scenic views as soon as you get on the road and seeing the sheep run around the field opposite was a different experience in the morning. Around 30 mins to Castleton if you want to see some of the Peak Districts hotspots. If you're after a nice getaway for a few days, then this is the place.

A great cottage for 2. Very nicely decorated with everything you need. Great walking from the door. Very pleasant pub just a short walk into the village, serving good food and ale. Gets very busy at the weekends. Our second stay, and will definitely be back.
That we couldn't stay longer!
