Pilgrim Suite - Sea View - Free Wi-Fi

The location right in the centre of brixham and view of the harbour from the room is phenomenal. I stayed here last year for the vista and convenient location and came back this year to share the experience with my partner. The apartment is spacious room and beautifully designed and decorated.

Little things about the amenities and facilities compounded by the keyless nature of the hotel (no staff on site) meant it did not live up to the luxury advertised. For example there was a coffee machine in the room with no pods available to use it either in the room or shared utility. The instant coffee and tea provided was not enough for two people for 4 nights and the cups available to use was the hot water machine were too small for it. We ran out of toilet roll as there was not enough provided for our length of stay and nowhere to replenish supplies. Finally having to wash your own cups in a downstairs shared utility and empty the bin there reminded me of living in student accommodation not a luxury holiday apartment.

Very clean. Lovely bathroom and shower. Harbour view which you could see from bed in Pilgrim Suite. Close to harbour, shops and very good restaurants if you don't mind a few steps or short uphill walk.

It's 13 quite steep steps up an alley outside to get to entrance to suites so had to park on double yellow lines to get bags out of car and to pack up when leaving as no legal parking in the immediate vicinity. Wardrobe door coming of it's hinges reported and hopefully should be fixed by now so certainly not the end of the world. Wi Fi connection rather unreliable in our room.

We absolutely loved this property. The view was incredible and special. The interior is very seaside but with a expensive taste to it. It was just wonderful

The location was a slight negative as it was rather noisy especially during the night due to vehicles passing and the harbour activity. However, this is not something that can be changed therefore I'm not upset about it. If I could improve something it would be there was no plug for the beautiful bath and we wasnt sure who to ask to get it.

The location was fab - the room decor, bedding, bathroom was done to a very high standard - nice coffee machine and a very nice kept utility room on the bottom floor for use of cups, glasses, plates, iron and board, washer/dryer, kettle, ice machine, microwave

No toilet roll top up or fresh towels provided - no WIFI Check in 4pm - checkout 8-10 ! Most annoying is the fact they had arranged for the carpets to be cleaned in the other rooms everyday throughout are stay, this was an awful noise and no privacy in our room with the men up and down the stairs and next door. The day of our checkout we are woken at 8.30ish with them trying to gain entry to start cleaning the carpet in our room, said they were told we would be gone by now, we had planned to checkout at 10am the latest advised, as we had a late night celebrating my partners 50th birthday and a long journey ahead of us- so very rushed packing up and getting out - in general the communication lacks Coastal properties send you a lovely departure text the morning before too!!! - so for a moment you think you have mucked up your booking and a day short !!!! The weather was lovely but the heating was constantly on in the bathroom, you have to close the windows at bedtime due to the traffic noise outside
