Quirky little house in a canny village.

Excellent communication before arrival, very helpful owner who carried my heavy cases up the hill and a quirky little house that was fine for one. Plenty room for a couple. Safe parking for a motorbike albeit away from accommodation. No WiFi although something about a hotspot in details. Canny little village with food shops bars and restaurants easy walking distance.

Small, well equipped gem of a house. Ideal location to explore Finestrat and the surrounding area

Hosts were wonderful: very responsive, thoughtful and friendly. Antonio met us at the public parking and showed us to the property's private parking bay. We were given a key to enter the private parking area. He then walked us up to the house in the village and talked us through everything. He had thoughtfully lit a fire for us, as it was very cold.

More kindling for the wood burner. I spoke to Antonio on the second day and he directed me to a wood store on the roof terrace where I found a couple of smaller logs I could use to get a fire going. Ideally, there would be a box of kindling left down by the wood burner. It was made clear in the description that there is no wifi, but I kind of missed this detail as I was fixated on other things! Wifi would have been very useful.

Comfortable, clean stay for exploring the coast

Wonderfully set in the town of Finestrat with fantastic views from the terrace. The hosts communication was second to none and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Extensive amenities and a good base for exploring the coastal towns and sights. I would highly recommend and hope to return.

Comfortable small house with all amenities. Good heating and Air Con facility. Excellent shower. Spacious roof terrace.

Prolonged heavy rain had caused the front door to expand, making it difficult to lock. Owner became aware of this and has promised to address the issue. Should not be a problem in summer.

Nice apartment with cool terrace on the roof. A quiet localization, away form big touristic rush. Close to the mountains and the beach. Perfect if you want to do some climbing in Marina Baixa area and enjoy the beach during rest days.

This is the place to be

In the „El Capricho“ you will get exactly what you see. The house is traditional without being outdated. Every picture reflects the reality. Its location in the heart of the picturesque village of Finestrat is just amazing. The whole village is like a big museum - and in the “El Capricho” you are right in the middle of it. This is just a gift. The stairs are kind of challenging - but that’s part of it. And once you have “reached” the roof-deck it’s just: boom! Days and nights should never end at this place. The hosts? Just great!! Communication runs smoothly. They have been there when needed - but not more than this. Perfect. Thanks again for the welcome purified water, grapes and peaches. Last but not least thanks for giving me the chance to practice a little bit of Spanish :-)

Tiene buena ubicación ,está en el casco antiguo,cerca de Benidorm y de otros pueblos turísticos.Muy recomendable, todo muy limpio ,la cama muy cómoda ,casa tranquila .

Las escaleras al ser una casa antigua, muy altas, hay que cogerse de la barandilla.

Estupenda alternativa a Benidorm

Intentar conseguir una habitación en los principales centros turisticos como en este caso Benidorm se ha convertido en una práctica prohibitiva. Nuestra intención era pasar unos días en Benidorm y llevar a nuestra hija de 11 años a disfrutar de Aqualandia. Pero dados los precios, optamos por la alternativa de mirar en los alrededores y tengo que decir que fue un acierto optar por Finestrat, un pintoresco y precioso pueblo blanco al pie de la cumbre del Puig Campana. Estás a 10 minutos de cualquier punto de benidorm y con fácil acceso a otro montón de localidades y playas (Altea, Calpe, Moraira, Denia etc...) El Apartamento es una edificación muy prototípica de la zona, pintoresco, bonito y muy agradable. No es muy grande y es estrecho pero si lees bien la reseña en Booking y ves las fotos ya sabes lo que hay.. En cualquier caso, para nosotros no fue un problema y disfrutamos mucho la estancia.
