Het was heel erg schoon en modern, geweldig uitzicht over het meer!

Het enige nadeel wat ik kan bedenken is dat je wel een auto nodig hebt, omdat er weinig op loopafstand is.

We didn’t have use of a car so depended on buses. The buses were not to the timetable and sometimes we waited 90 minutes or more for the bus then struggled to get on. ( This wasn’t even peak season) On two occasions we couldn’t get on the bus as the card ticket machine wasn’t working and the ATM had run out of money, we were left stranded until the next bus an hour plus later came along. The last bus was also just after 8 pm back to Nesso so you had to make sure you were at the bus stop in plenty of time to get on it. This meant eating early to get the bus back as only a few restaurants open locally at night, and unless you booked well in advance you couldn’t get a table or waited a very long time for table. So much of our time was spent waiting for buses we wished we had lengthen our stay in Como where there were a choice of buses and restaurants. My advice only stay here if you have a car and want to eat in other locations or in the apartment. Pool wasn’t open until June but we didn’t see the small print. This was the reason we booked it initially so that was disappointing. Also we was asked to pay 200 euro deposit. We have stayed in many apartments and I have never been asked to do this before. Then had an inspection of the property by the lady on the last day to check everything before she returned our money. Never experienced this before. All very strange. Obviously she has had some bad experiences previously. Our low score is purely our experience of using this apartment without having use of a car.
