The location. The property was just what we needed. The view was fantastic, such a relaxing place. We were 3 older guys on a golf tour. All we needed was the coffee and cups and glasses. Would definitely stay here again. The fables restaurant for dinner was great and we had breakfast both days in the café at the Terrace downs Golf Club.
It had everything we needed.

Stunning view across golf course to Mt Cook, great spa bath in master en-suite, well-stocked kitchen
Basically nothing (would have liked some hair conditioner in addition to the shampoo). Generous supply of everything else - including dishwasher tablets & washing powder.
