Nice Room - Centar

Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und vorkommend sehr bemüht, dass wir alles haben was wir brauchten. Voll die liebe Person und voll das nette Zimmer. Direkt neben der kirchlichen deren Glücken sanft durchs Fenster klangen. Die Lage war perfekt alles zu Fuß erreichbar. 🫶🫶🫶

Very nicely located right by the beautiful church in the heart of the old town. The host is incredibly kind and welcoming. Everything was very clean. Nice hot shower with good pressure and she provided shampoo and conditioner which is so rare (but very appreciated as a woman with long hair that gets destroyed by the ocean). Also appreciate the mini fridge. I didn’t see anyone mention that you are actually in the hosts house on the second or third floor above her kitchen so it’s not very private. You literally walk through her kitchen and front door every time you come and go. So if going in and out a lot or staying up late is your thing, this may not be optimal.

I mentioned the shared entry/walking through her house already, but expensive parking is also not ideal. It was 18 euros to park for 1 day overnight in the public lot a few minutes away. That’s insane. Also, communication and instructions could be much more clean ahead of checkin. Pictures of the parking lot with google coordinates as well as coordinates to the house. I felt a little like I was doing a scavenger hunt trying to piece together the random names of streets/churches/ etc. to figure out what it all meant. Also the lack of air conditioning was a little uncomfortable. She provides two fans that help for sure. But I can’t imagine it will be tolerable at the hottest time of year. The towels provided were teeny tiny. It would be really nice to be provided with at least one bigger one to take to the beach.

The room is very picturesque, overlooking the church and the beautiful alley, the bed is comfortable and clean, sheets of natural cotton. Very nice regardless of the fact that it has no air conditioning. landlady Greta arranged our parking so we didn’t have to worry at all. I recommend. The town of Cres is wonderful!

Super nice landlady, always helpful and positive. Truly authentic Croatian old town building in centre. Next beach reachable in ~3min. by foot.
