Appartment Himmelblau

It’s a great accommodation. We came as a family with two kids, aged 6 and 1. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and the stairs are very narrow, so getting up there with a stroller was a bit challenging. Luckily, we only had a small foldable one. Parking is free on the street, although it took us a few minutes to find a spot. The location is great — within walking distance of the lake, city center, restaurants, and boats.

The beds and mattresses were very soft — much too soft for our backs. However, this might suit someone else. The lake on this side wasn’t very nice, unfortunately. It was quite muddy and had an unpleasant smell. We drove a few kilometers further and found much better access to the lake, which also seemed much cleaner.

The apartment was in a quiet neighbourhood. We had rented bicycles and were able to lock them securely and store them in the rack supplied outside. There was an option to store them in the basement but would've needed to carry them down a set of stairs. We were 2 couples and there was plenty of space. There are a few restaurants within 5-10 min walk. The main promenade was a 10 min bike or 25 min walk. Oktay was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions.

The shower curtain was a bit of a challenge because of the sloped roof. My engineering husband suggests hook could be added down the slope which would give a little more room in the tub for showering without spraying out.

Schöne Wohnung im Dachgeschoss. Ruhige Wohngegend, es gibt genug kostenlose Parkplätze in der Umgebung. Die Wohnung machte einen sauberen Eindruck, Küche war auch komplett ausgestattet. Check-In verlief reibungslos (Schlüsselbox).
