Die Lage ist Top. Direkt am See, ganz nahe an einer aussergewöhnlich schönen Bäckerei mit besten Produkten, Pizzeria im Haus und Einkaufsmöglichkeit in einem grossen Supermarkt im Dorf.

Parking is close, free and easy. The apartment is wonderful. It's spotlessly clean, well appointed, sleeps 6 easily (I was on my own!!!). It seems to have everything. I used the bedroom at the front, I nicknamed it 'la salle noir'. Yes, as seen mentioned before, there is pretty much constant traffic noise. It's a Route Nationale, oui?? But it's also minutes walk from the lake edge, an absolutely brilliant boulangerie, and a very flash restaurant serving locally produced, caught, grown, stunned produce, in a very nice setting indeed. And then there is the mini balcony, which it took me a couple of days to realise that the shutters were easily opened on to it.

This place was difficult to find, on a main road, at the tail end of a long day driving a lhd car on the wrong side of the road, and looking for No.100 which didn't seem to exist. Having roused a couple of the locals, one very helpful lady actually rang the number on my booking details (this would have been better as a direct link??), and all became clear. I had seen previous mention of the stairs to the apartment, and I agree. They're a pain, but how else do you get to the third floor of an ordinary building?? Having said that, I'm 70, and they are most definitely a pain.
