The apartment is ideally located, close to the beach and duomo market, 5 minutes from a supermarket. Our host was very kind and polite, helped us with our luggage and always available to help. The flat is beautifully decorated, very spacious, the rooms big and airy. All the facilities you can wish for. The entire apartment is tastefully decorated with a rustic but luxurious feel. The terrace was very convenient for sitting at night and listening to the hustle and bustle of people coming and going from the nearby restaurants. All in all, a very enjoyable stay and I would 100% return

The only inconvenience was the stairs leading to the apartment. There aren't that many, the only reason it was inconvenient is because I had a baby pram.

Fantastic location in the town centre and on the same street as the cathedral. Hosts were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help with our requests. They did everything they could to make our stay special. The apartment is very big and well equipped. We loved the amount of towels they gave us. Air conditioning works very well in the bedrooms. The upstairs terrace is a lovely space for eating an evening meal. There is a good pizza place just below the apartment which we found very useful (we travel with two young kids) on days we came home late from the beach. The apartment is a few steps away from a nice, safe, pedestrian zone with decent food options. The washing machine is excellent and the terrace can get clothes dry within an hour if you need.

The road that backs on to the bedrooms can get extremely loud with motorbikes and cars that play loud music. This is not the fault of the apartment but rather the idiots in the cars. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach. If you don’t have kids this will not be an issue. Our only issue with the facilities is the lack of a complete shower door in the bathroom, and (I’m not sure if the owners are allowed do this) the terrace would be supreme if there was a retractable cover for the dead heat of a day. To their credit, the hosts brought us over a large umbrella on the day we asked about cover, however it doesn’t offer much shade from the Sicilian sun.
