Tucked-Away 1&2 Bedroom Houses

We recently returned to Mbombela and extended our stay at Tucked Away, a serene, rustic property hidden behind a hill in the peaceful Insinga farming area. Our spotless two-bedroom self-catering unit was fully equipped, offered daily cleaning and treated water, and featured a massive yard that made us feel instantly at home. The priceless quiet of the landscape, beautifully broken only by the distant territorial cries of local baboons and monkeys, that is Tucked Away for you! What truly set our stay apart was the exceptional, rare hospitality of our hosts, Paula and Vic, who treated us just like family. They went above and beyond by generously sharing fresh and bottled chives when we forgot our onions, and their friendly dogs completely delighted our granddaughter. Sitting in their tastefully furnished dining room, my husband and I could not stop talking about how special this experience was, and we will definitely return.

THE ROAD WAS REALLY BAD NOT GOOD FOR SMALL CARS AND THE ESTIMATED TIME SHOWED ON BOOKINGS.COM AND EXACT TIME WAY FAR DIFFERENT THAT WAS A HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT

Location is lovely, surrounded by nature. Well equipped, with full-sized fridge. Road could be a bit challenging for small cars.

Interleading door to the next door apartment needs some soundproofing.

Accommodation requires maintenance as there are broken cupboard doors and bathroom cabinets that are badly scuffed and breaking. You had to ask for a TV for the unit. Doors do not close without locking them. King size bed mattress so thin and uncomfortable. Floors were very dirty. A stunning location however.
