At checkout time, all the shouting and banging on the doors by Manolo and staff when we were still lying in bed. That was awful.

The villa has a wonderful location on the seafront in a beautiful village. The front terrace is a real suntrap with room to dine. It has a good amount of space for a couple. It had an oven which is great and a bit unusual for rentals here. There was oil, vinegar, herbs and spices, some bin bags, toilet roll and hand soap provided. Eva who managed the property was fantastic and very responsive. There is a washing machine in an outside locked cupboard.

The kitchen utensils are a bit basic but has most of what you need, we always bring a sharp knife with us. The furniture is a bit worn but the double bed was comfortable. It might be nice to have thicker curtains at the front for privacy. We did buy a duvet and a small heater as it was unusually cold and wet in January.

Petite maison mais grands espaces directement sur la mer. ( Se baigner en face reste sportif mais la plage et la piscine sont à 1 min à pied). Grande terrasse. Hyper calme. Parking privé. Accès facile. Petits commerces à Arrieta. A l'intérieur quasi tout ce dont vous avez besoin, et du rangement. La petite machine à laver cachée mais bien pratique.

Manque un peu de vaisselle surtout si vous êtes 4. Le matelas du grand lit n'est pas confortable un peu vieux il méritait au moins un surmatelas.. Idem pour les transats, défoncés.

Location is the best aspect of this property

Poorly equipped ( no electric toaster or coffee maker-the basics) insufficient bedding, uncomfortable beds . We had poor weather so it was damp and cold - had asked for warmer bedding and was given a light throw . Only one very old electric radiator for entire apartment so was very uncomfortable and cold for most of week. It was reasonably clean . Very tired and dated and in need of refurbishment . Owner wasn’t very forthcoming with information and not particularly friendly . Did let us into the property an hour early on arrival but was waiting at the door for us to leave at 10 minutes before departure time. There are far superior property’s in this development but this one isn’t worth the price .
