Snow Gums Apartment 16

So cosy and cute - location was excellent with a lovely look out onto the bush and cross country tracks. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we could possibly need to cook a meal. We got so lucky with the snow of the season during our stay and couldn’t have been happier.

Nothing - for what we paid it was perfect

Fabulous location. The unit’s living area was so cosy and welcoming. A gorgeous window seat with ample cushions and a blanket to be snug while you relaxed and took in the beautiful snowy outlook. Great little open fireplace to add to the cosy winter feel. Well supplied kitchen with plenty of good sized saucepans. Well heated. Cross country skiing trail right on the back door step. Good sized wet room or removing and storing snow boots, ski gear and clothes. Great host, I had issues with payment errors and the host was very patient and understanding.

Nothing we didn’t like, but if I was being fussy the bathrooms are a little tired, but still very clean and meet our needs very well.

Thoughtfully appointed, fire and window box made it very cosy. Nicely decorated, great lighting. Heating was great.

Master bed was a bit firm.

Property was cozy with blankets and pillows. Dinner Plain village was a fantastic weekend, with prime weather conditions and lots of snowfall.

We booked over a month in advance for 3 nights accommodation (Fri-Mon) for 4 people. On arrival the place appeared clean, heaters on and cozy. Contacted host to ask about firewood. Only one piece of wood provided which was insufficient for stay. Asked for more but told ‘I will order’ with no ETA. Not prepared. We ended up borrowing from another kind Apt for our stay. Contacted host for an overnight pass for a second car. Took time for a response and was directed to a garage to fetch pass off another car. Overall conditions of apartment require upgrading for price of stay. The heater in bedroom was leaking rust fluid into the carpet. Carpet is worn. Bathroom basic and shower not great. Cleaning required by guests, however vacuum cleaner not great.
