Breakfast has very little choice, not 4-stars. Same as dinner, not 4-stars.

Kitchen doesn’t work despite hob and oven are in the room, which is not handy with a young family.

Basic but clean and affordable

The pool and spa facilities were great and staff were lovely and accommodating. It was a nice surprise to have a bar at the pool. The room was lovely and clean. Lovely thick and comfortable bathrobes and slippers were provided. Great to have a fridge too.

There was only one mirror in my studio in the bathroom. It would have been great to have at least one full length mirror in the room. The bed was very lumpy and I could feel springs through it. Breakfast wasn’t great. Outside the front is a dirt road and full of potholes.

Great value for the money

Great value for the money. Staff is very friendly including the ski service/rent guy. Transport to gondola any time of the day and can be custom to any guests was very helpful, even though the gondola is close to the hotel.

Pillows definitely need to be updated with new ones.

Nice location and close to gondola, the pool and spa is not child-friendly.

We stayed at Parklands Hotel in Bansko as a family and found the experience generally comfortable. The hotel has a nice location, very close to the gondola, with easy access to nearby areas, and the building itself felt warm and well-heated, which is important when visiting in winter. Overall, it was a practical and suitable option for a short family stay.

During our stay, there were road construction works around the hotel, which made access a bit inconvenient at times (very muddy) and affected the surroundings. Also made moving with a stroller a bit difficult. In addition, the spa area wasn’t very suitable for small children in winter, as the pool water didn’t feel warm enough. While these points may be temporary or subjective, they did slightly impact our overall experience.

A scam price for new year eve stay in Bankso.

Never come back, not recommend to anyone

We ended up paying extra 130 eur per night for 2 children, although the advertised price show on booking INCLUDED the 2 children (with real ages set). I have no problem to pay 500eur per night, but not for a 2 star hotel which presents itself as “4 star”

I cannot recommend this hotel

The clean room and staff on restorant.

Our stay at Parklands Hotel & Pool in Bansko was deeply unsatisfactory. The only real positive we can point out is that the rooms were kept very clean. Sadly, that was the extent of the good aspects. However, the most disturbing part of our stay was the attitude of the front desk staff. Specifically, Ms. Rayna Cherganova, who seemed to hold a managerial or accounting position and was called to handle the situation personally, acted in an extremely rude, arrogant, and unprofessional way. When we tried to address our concerns regarding misleading information published on Booking.com, we did not receive any help or attempt at a fair resolution. Instead, we were coldly told that we were free to leave the hotel. This response was unacceptable and showed a serious lack of basic customer care. The only employees who demonstrated professionalism were the restaurant staff, who were courteous, respectful, and attentive. Unfortunately, their positive attitude could not make up for the overall poor experience. I cannot recommend this hotel and have no intention of staying there again.

The location was great we had a massive balcony with Vihren as a view. The room was huge, clean and comfortable The bar on reception works 24/7 so we managed to get coffees at 4am The SPA area is very nice and clean we used it with pleasure

If I have to be very picky but that didn’t spoil our stay at all: There was no air conditioning in the room and durin the day got quite hot. It cooled down at night with the doors and windows open. The restaurant was not working so no breakfast was on offer I understand it’s only during summer but nowhere was mentioned when I was booking it. There’s a note in the room that states “your first drink is on us” but we never had our first drink free 😊

Nothing special, not terrible

I had a relaxing stay at Parklands Hotel. One of the highlights was how quiet the place was—I got to enjoy the pool all to myself and had uninterrupted workouts at the gym, which was a rare treat. The room itself was comfortable and pleasant.

I specifically booked a studio so I could use the kitchenette, but was disappointed to find out that you have to pay extra just to have electricity turned on for it. I couldn’t even boil eggs. While they mentioned it’s written somewhere that the kitchenette is available for an additional charge, I find it quite stingy to advertise a studio with kitchenette and then limit its use unless you pay more. This should be more clearly stated upfront. The other downside was that the jacuzzi was not very clean.

TERRIBLE BUILDING

Not much

The scheduled 7:30 am breakfast was cancelled since some football club team guests didn't want breakfast until 9;30 . My child was waiting and crying for two hours without food .also NO AIR CONDITIONING in the summer heat. Finally , they turned off the electricity in the kitchen so even though they didn't have breakfast I could not cook for my son . Horrible experience. Also muddy dirt road to access and the parking also dirt road .

Misleading photos. Attic apartment that gets very hot during the summer. Unfriendly staff.

The only thing that was as advertised was the size of the apartment we rented. It had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The mini-kitchen had a coffee machine.

Apartment was in the attic (last floor). The ceiling was very low in many areas so I had to duck to walk around. Walls were dirty. There were no insect nets at the windows, so when we arrived there were quite a lot of bugs around. There is no air conditioning. It might work in winter, but at 30 celsius, the roof heats up and it's unbearable. Add to that the lack of insect nets and you get a choice: roast to death or open the windows and get bitten by insects. Doors weren't closing properly. The livingroom table was cracked and looked badly kept. The hotel was very crowded with 2 full football teams and they were very noisy. We could hear the guests next door watching a football match and screaming as if they were in the room with us. Walls were probably just one thin sheet of plaster. The staff was not friendly at all. The hotel overbooked our friends and the staff's reaction was something like: we can't give you a room, take care. Zero attempts at finding a solution for a family with small children. Luckily, booking.com staff are a lot better and they helped them find another hotel in the same evening. All in all, a very bad experience.

huge rooms 100 square meters with 2 bed rooms ( we were families of 3 kids each ) nicely equipped. warm swimming pool, jacuzzi , sauna, well organized and well kept. lowan outside for the kids to run and play

Not a 4-star hotel In my opinion

During our stay there were many children checked-in the hotel and it was noisy and quite chaotic in the lobby and hallways and even from outside where they were doing some activities in the early morning. The staff who greeted us when we checked-in is nice and polite but the following day, the receptionist is quite nonchalant and could do better I think. The room is big and spacious but could use some touch ups and renovation as there are stains on the wooden table which gives an impression that it wasn’t clean. The faucet in the kitchen sink didn’t have cold water. The water was boiling hot. The location of the hotel though is very accessible and you could walk to the city center. The pool is quite good and big too but the water temperature could be a bit warmer I guess as it was about 28 degrees celsius. The whole hotel could use some renovation as it is quite outdated.

It was a pleasant stay with good memories, we will come back again.

I liked the swimming pool with glass roof with beautiful view of sky. Sauna and jacuzzi were in good shape. The shuttle from hotel to the gondola and the other around was very comfy with friendly drivers. Our room was spacious with good sun light. We booked a double bedroom but checked in twin bedroom. We had half board meal in our booking and the restaurant was ok. Ski equipment booking in the hotel was fair and friendly. The staffs of reception were a little bit grumpy and not helpful in different occasions when we had an interaction with them.

Highly recommended! Perfect place to stay.

The location was perfect just a 6 minute walk to the gondola. The room was imaculate, fresh towels daily and super spacious. The staff were all lovely and friendly and all the pool facilities were superb. Everyone was accommodating and the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious all the food tasted fresh couldn’t fault it at all!

Good location, very close to Bansko center and gondola, ski shuttle, many good restaurants nearby, supermarkets nearby. The pool and jacuzzi was great after a ski day. Good, varied breakfast. Clean rooms.

The hotel was clean and spacious and we had a lovely time. Pool was great, ski hire was easy and the staff were all super friendly.

As it was a bit end of season there was no buffet breakfast and the set menu choices were a bit restrictive.

Best price quality in Bansko, highly recommended

Very nice, well maintaned aparthotel. Staff speaks good english ans is very kind. Rooms are nice, clean, daily cleaning service organized. A lot of parking slots in front of the hotel or paid parking in the undergroound with dry step one floor up to the hotel. Pools is very clean and warm (30), even fine for small kids. Breakfasts and dinners are nice, variety where everyone can choose. Do not understand the negative reviews, this was my 5th stay in Bansko and so far this is the best price quality choice. Indeed dont expect luxurious 4* hotel.

The extendable bed in the living room is not super comfortable, but sufficient for someone tired after day of skiing.

Superb

The apartment we had was very large, good for a family of four like us. The bathroom was very nice. The soundproofing which is genererally a problem was decent. The restaurant was clean and the food was decent, one might say good for blugarian standands. Pool was great. staff (apart from the lifeguard who was very cranky) was very nice and helpful, extra thanks to the shuttle drivers

All the furniture was making noise and or broken somehow. The sheets altheough clean, were very old and/or hâd small tears. the stove and oven in the room had been shutoff and could not be used. The dinner (we had halfboard) was fixed menus in some days, which made serving it a nightmare.

A bit overpriced, but very good compared to other "4 stars" hotels in the area.

The spacious and warm rooms with huge beds. The indoor pool. Breakfast was acceptable, nothing to fancy. Easy acces to the gondola (~10 minutes walk, a bit more if equiped with ski boots).

The late departure of the first shuttle in the morning from the hotel to the gondola. The extensible couch in the living room was squeaky at every movement during the night. The wifi signal in the rooms drops significantly after 9 PM.

Great experience in a nutshell

Very pleasant stay, especially for families with children. We had a clean, large one-bedroom apartment at 1st floor booked for 5 nights. It was warm and cozy, heating throughout, no issue from this point of view. The cleaning ladies were there every morning - if needed they would change your towels also. We had accommodation with half-board, delicious food and pretty diverse, especially at dinner. Breakfast was also rich and would have cover lots of tastes, even for picky eaters. 5-10 minutes walk to gondola lift, 2 minutes by hotel free shuttle. A clean and large pool with warm water, also sauna, if you'd want to relax after skiing.

The bedsheets: even they were clean, as per ironing folds, they didn't look that clean - hair found on them and also some stains. After I discussed with the lady from reception she was helpful and brought me some new ones. Maybe changing the washing service would be a good idea.
